Hi there everyone. I have two mystery snails that have been showing some weird behavior. They are in a 20 gal long with 1 long finned Betta fish.
This fish does not give them the time of day, so I assume he is leaving them alone because I never see him even looking at them.
That being said, they have been half hanging out of their shells, sluggish, BUT responsive. When I touch them they close but never go out of their shell more than halfway.
They have been given an air bath, and left alone as well. I am going on 4 days not knowing what’s wrong with my pets. Pictured is my Ivory, and I have a magenta doing the same. One is eating the other not so much.
Can anyone help me help them? Parameters in comments.

I got this panda Cory alone because he was the last one at petco and I already had a community tank he could live in. No other pandas, though. He’s teeny tiny and I haven’t seen him move much ever or really eat. I just found him on his side, still breathing and when I touched him he swam sideways. Can anyone tell me how to help him!?!?

I thought I was going to witness an epic Snail parachuting moment, she said, actually, nevermind!

I had gotten these two emerald green Cory’s and they had nipped fins and were very very skinny- I’m surprised they were even alive.
Now that they are fed and away from any fin nippers just ONE has gotten this belly. I gave them an algae wafer to share between all 7 of my Cory varieties.
Is he/she overfed or just a healthy female? They are very active!

Hello! I just wanted to post and see everyone’s suggestions on what I should do with my new snails, they are about the same size, how old are they approx.? And my Ivory mystery (Pearl) has some shell deteriorated when I bought her, so we are working up a better shell right now! My Magenta/Chesnut?? (Peach) has a better shell but a GREEN door? What do you think I should do to help Pearl’s shell and does Peach seem in good health!?

Hi everyone. I have had 6 False Julii corydoras for about six months now and I have had no issue with them and in the span of two days, I am down to 3. Do these fish look unhealthy? What signs am I missing? Water parameters are normal, PH is normal. Two died before a water change and one died after. My heart is broken. They live on fine sand and eat food wafers and sinking shrimp fish food. Please help.

Meet our new mystery, Coco! I am fairly certain this one is a male. I have raised 1 other mystery into late adulthood before him, she was a blue female. Based off his size and shell, how should I best treat our new guy? I have already started supplementing calcium and he’s going to town on that green algae wafer. About the size of a quarter in diameter. Any tips or tricks welcome!

Based on these images can someone give me any advice? She fell out of the tank and has no external injuries but this is how she is currently. Moved a teeny bit after a day but her face looked funny. Now she’s stuck floating upside down like this. Not responsive not moving to touch.

My snail fell out of the tank while I was water changing my other tank and I immediately heard it, picked her up and put her in a bowl of tank water and she was leaking this blueish fluid, I went to check on her again and now she looks like this. Is it safe to say she passed?
I can’t believe this happened, the lid was off for a few mins before I turned my back :(

All seven, yes seven of my Cory’s enjoying a wafer…. Definitely no betta fish also joining the school now that would just be silly!

Hi everyone! It’s lunch time for the cats and my betta here and figured I should make a video while I still could see all of them, and was wondering if anyone with more experience sexing their fish and maybe breeding them, could help me identify if I have a mix of males and females? And at what age I should expect eggs?
They are all one inch long for total length, minus 1 smaller sized Cory. He/she is the runt of them.

Here’s 4 of my 6 False Julii Corydoras and I love them. I refer to them exclusively as ‘The Cats’, and I love their little wiggly bodies! What’s your favorite species of Cories? I had orange ones and re homed them. Can’t seem to find any other that peak my interest!
