Konica FT-1 Motor issue upon firing

I am not sure of the origin of that issue, nor how to fix said issue (not sure how to explain but the video demonstrates the issue when firing)
I may or may not have a roll of film inside because i got way too happy with this camera
Before anyone asks, i JUST got the t4, and it needs new light seals so cant shoot with that yet
Ignore the canon its just so i don’t completely waste a shot of film

Konica FT-1 motor batteries

So i am wondering something about what batteries i can use with the Konica ft-1 motor
I have Nickel Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries and im wondering if i can use them with the Konica ft-1 motor so i dont have to use alkaline batteries
I am aware that you cant use Nickel Cadmium batteries because they are too low voltage and can ruin the electronics of the camera if they drop too low, but i don’t know if its the same case with Nickel Metal Hydride batteries
Before anyone worries, i currently have alkaline batteries while putting the camera through its paces and through its first roll of ultramax 400

Konica FT-1 Motor hazy viewfinder

Im trying to figure out how to get inside the viewfinder so i can clean the haze off of it but i dont want to go in further without some help
It appears to be glued on and i have removed the screws that i thought just held if in but i havent been able to take them off
Do i just go at it until it comes off?
Is there something else i should unscrew/take off before i can get it off?
I need help

What Konica AR SLR should i get

I have an attachment to Konica (50mm f1.4 made me fall in love with photography), and have the ultimate duo: Konica UC Hexanon AR 28mm f1.8 and the Konica Hexanon AR 57mm f1.2 (searching now for the 135mm f2.5) and i would love to use this as my general purpose film camera. I am not sure what Konica SLR to get though, but i know 2 things i want: either be fully mechanical or fully electronic, and to have a metering system that is closest to the canon t90 (or is very good and gives good exposure even in difficult situations)

maybe i should also hunt for a Konica super-telephoto lens for wildlife photography

Its been 5 long years hunting, but I finally have the One

After 5 long years of hunting, i finally have the Konica Hexanon AR 57mm f1.2

Konica is the reason i have made it this far into my photography path, first real lens i ever got for my first mirrorless camera is the Konica Hexanon ar 50mm f1.4 i got at a random garage sale 5 years ago for 5 bucks. But it is currently too damaged to continue using (accidents that weren’t entirely my fault, optics are ok, maybe ill just buy a housing and put the optics in) but now im back to my roots with 2 konicas:
Konica UC Hexanon AR 28mm f1.8
Konica Hexanon AR 57mm f1.2
The Konica 57mm f1.2 does sadly have fungus, but i will open it and clean it out first chance i get (just borrow some tools from work as i do work at a camera store)

Canon t90 blinking cursor, standard fix doesn’t work

So basically:
Right after i finished a roll of film, my t90 suddenly developed the blinking cursor error, and the standard method of fixing by applying a magnet isn’t working but i still hear clicking like it is trying to fire the shutter
I did notice that it did hesitate in between the 2nd and last photo, hopefully all 36 exposures are good
At this point i am unsure as to what i need to do to get this camera operational again, my backup t90 ended up developing the same issue, both from lifting the mirror to check the front curtain for the sticky shutter issue which I’ve done before with zero issue, but both cameras are down and man i want to get these repaired before i go out with my best friend next weekend to go to his mother’s birthday party
God and the people of reddit, please help me
I do have a post in analog repair that has a video of the issue (my backup hadn’t developed the issue yet in that video) if it helps at all

Canon T90 blinking cursor, standard fix doesn’t work

So basically:
Right after i finished a roll of film, that t90 with the front panel off, suddenly developed the blinking cursor error, and the standard method of fixing by applying a magnet isn’t working but i still hear clicking like it is trying to fire the shutter
I did notice that it did hesitate in between the 2nd and last photo, hopefully all 36 exposures are good
At this point i am unsure as to what i need to do to get this camera operational again, thankfully i have a backup t90 i got in yesterday so i can still shoot film, but hopefully i can get the other t90 fixed as i may give it to my brother or my best friend as a gift
Hopefully you guys are having a lovely 4th of July

FD super-telephoto lens or EOS film body

I want to get photos of wildlife on 35mm film, and i have my (2nd) Canon t90, but my first t90 that i fixed myself was stolen, along with a fd 300mm f4
Its hard to find fd super-telephoto lenses locally (none at the time of writing), and i really dont want to shop online, but i want to shoot film which leads to this dilemma:
Try to hunt down an fd super-telephoto lens (300mm or longer) or get a canon eos film body because i have an ef 300mm f2.8l is usm that i can use
If i were to get an eos film body, i would hesitate to buy any one above 350 dollars unless its a canon eos 3 with the power booster (i still kick myself for not buying one at $250 in full working order, was debating if i should shoot film at the time), but im not sure what eos film camera other than the eos 3 (and 1v, but thats too expensive for me) would be good for photographing birds in flight
Requirements of what i need from a eos film camera:
Good ergonomics, Accurate autofocus, excellent meter system (like the one in the t90), decent shooting speed (5 fps is fine), and preferably runs on AA batteries (though not required)

New Issue when i draw with krita

Im not sure what happened, but it started after my computer updated to 25h2 which was problematic in the past, which i ended up uninstalling, but now i cant draw as i use dynamic brush for erasing, but all it does is make my pen do a spiral and with mouse it just makes it almost jumpy. On the rest of the desktop it works fine, even in krita’s built in tablet tester, but in actual drawing, it goes in a spiral

Canon T90 cleaning shutter blades

I have a Canon T90 Film SLR that i fixed a while back, but it has started to develop the dreaded shutter issue (the black goo started sticking to the blades, doesn’t affect functionality yet). I have heard people say that lighter fluid is best to clean the blades, but I’m wondering if Isopropyl alcohol works to clean the blades as well
This camera has been a godsend, and i hope you guys can help me keep this camera alive
Have a good day/night

Canon R5 Electronic shutter no sound

I got the canon R5, but i cant seem to get the sound of the shutter as it fires. i need the feedback to tell if I'm taking Photos as when I'm shooting i focus on the subject, not whether some box has flickered at the edge of the screen showing that i took a photo. is there a way to enable sound with the electronic shutter?

Other than that no other complaints about the R5

Got an FD 300 f4 to do wildlife with 35mm film but noticed the aperture isn’t engaging. Everything else is fine but aperture doesn’t seem to engage at all and there is no disassembly guide to see what needs to be where to engage the aperture for this specific lens
