I’m tired

I’m tired of everyone and everything casually throwing around the idea, word, etc ADOPT/ADOPTION etc.
NO, you’re not adopting a monster you’re buying a toy. Target $1 section in the front had these monsters.

I’m tired of still being the butt of everyone’s jokes. In the movie RV, Robin Williams says “good news” his daughter’s reply is “what ? I’m adopted? “

I’m in a few very marginalized groups and tired of hearing a lot of things but today is tired Tuesday.

This made me feel so…

I saw this on quirky roadside attractions fb group. The comments weren’t anything to screenshot. It made me have such bad vibes though. I’m not sure I’d want to visit this place.

What do you guys think?

It really doesn’t sit well with me that orphans were memorialized and people are excited to visit this museum. Maybe it’s just me. Idk being adopted def makes me think differently about things.

Saw this one today

I was doing errands and came across this name on a name tag of my cashier. Ambishas. My best guess is it’s an ambitious name! He was an adult and I didn’t ask him about it. I figure he gets that’s enough.

I’m so hurt

Today is my n females birthday. I had to help out a friend who lives near her and have to see her house going and coming from my friends house. I’ve been nc for almost 19 years (5 days!!🥳) She has company since yesterday up to celebrate is my guess. Does that same “mutual friend” come to visit me and hang out or tell me she’s up here from another state? No. I am so hurt and sad. I’m alone for the long weekend. I’m alone for my birthday. I hate seeing her living a good social life with friends, visitors, invites , etc. and without having to worry about money while I’m scraping things together and struggling.

Rhetoric questions-why are they like this?? Why do people choose them? Why am I not liked? It hurts my heart.
