This is a slight exaggeration. I enjoyed the game and I see why it’s considered the best one, but I don’t think it was QUITE as incredible as people say.

Here’s the TLDR version: I liked the RPG mechanics, battle system, ability variety, unique characters, and story. I did NOT like the heavy amount of backtracking, level design, repetition of certain tasks, and the inconsistent length of each chapter. Going from chapter 3 to 4 in particular was WILD.

I’ll put my full thoughts in the comment section. Overall I would say that TTYD is ALMOST all it was cracked up to be. TOK is still the best one IMO, and I liked how it took a lot of notes from TTYD.

Now to 100% the game! I hope I don’t regret this.
