The Verstappen-to-McLaren rumor could put Piastri in a weird spot

The Verstappen to McLaren rumor is fun, but the real chaos would be what happens to Oscar Piastri.

McLaren finally has a young, fast, settled lineup with Norris and Piastri. It actually feels like something they can build around for years. But if Max somehow became available, all of that patience would get tested.

Piastri already looks too good to let go. At the same time, Verstappen is the kind of driver teams rip up long-term plans for.

Would McLaren be crazy to choose Max over Piastri or crazy not to?
