Its hard to get a good picture. But there is a haze on a couple of spots on Air80 that's about 3 weeks old. It disappears if i spray liquid on it. But comes back when it dries. Its really only visible in low morning sun. I know it from something they did while applying it because it has smear marks. So its not something in the tint. Any recommendations on a product i can try without damage?
Recently got my work van windshield double coated with 70% ceramic. Really like it. Rainbow affect is little weird at first with polarized sunglasses. But the question is i want to do my wifes SUV. Does double layer reduce that much more heat? The shop i used did windshield for $180+$40 additional for 2nd layer. Another shop qouted $170x2 if i did double. Just wondering is it worth the cost. I never felt the difference with single layer on mine so I can't judge.
Edit: The brand i have on the van is Lumar Dual-Layer Nano Ceramic. I misunderstood and thought it was double layer when he said Dual Layer.
What is the widest tire that will fit safely on a 7" wheel? And will turn safely on a 2025 CX5?
Just bought a 2025 Mazda Jet Black Mica. Only 7k miles but was run thru brush carwash regularly. It was a service loaner. Lot of swirls. 2 questions im looking at correcting with Buff & Shine Uro Fiber pad with Sonax Perfect Finish. Should that give a decent finish with that combo? And does Sonax leave any residue on trim? I hear Mazda paint is soft and thin. So im not wanting to use to much compound or having to do multiple steps to reduce clear coat damage.
Wife has 2025 Jet Black Mica with 17" stock wheels and tires. She has informed me she wants black wheels that fill up the wheel well pretty decently. Im looking at the black 19" that come on the Carbon model. Can i get side views of some 19" that you may have put a little larger tire on to get more meat in the wheel well? Or any black wheels/tire combos.
For those that have done a lower window chrome delete. Did you go with a gloss vinyl or a matte? The divider pillars are matte but all the kits im seeing are gloss.
Recently bought a Mazda CX5 with the felt like fabric rear wheel wells. Any recommendations on how and what to clean them with. Also is there anything to dress them with?
Recently bought '25 CX5 S Select with 7k miles. It was dealers service loaner. I see the recommendation is 87 octane. But does anyone us fuel additives periodically to "clean" the fuel system? If so is there one you highly recommend?
