A 5-year-old's sci-fi experiment turns all the kids into adults and the adults into chaotic toddlers [Animated Comedy, 12 Pages]"

Read the Script (PDF):https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FcX-ShviVeXweQbeeFcaCh4rN8dDsujr/view?usp=sharing

Format: Animated Comedy (12 Pages)

Tone: Dexter's Laboratory meets South Park / Sci-Fi Chaos Comedy

Logline:

When a brilliant 5-year-old’s makeshift time machine backfires, it turns every kid in town into an adult—and every adult into a chaotic, diaper-bound toddler. With full-grown bodies, permanent genius updates, and a talking ferret on their side, the kids have 24 hours to override the local power grid before the shift becomes permanent.

Why I’m Sharing:

Hey everyone! I’m putting out the pilot episode for **"Pinner Road Prodigies: The Puberty Glitch."**It’s a fast-paced, high-concept animated pilot featuring dynamic kid characters, adult-level stakes, and plenty of absurd sci-fi comedy.

I’d love to get some fresh eyes on the script. If you have a few minutes for a table-read, I’d specifically appreciate feedback on:

  1. Pacing & Energy: Does the act progression hold momentum from the explosion to the power plant break-in?
  2. Dialogue: Does the banter land well between kids operating in adult bodies?
  3. Character Beats: Does each member of the Prodigies unit feel distinct and memorable?

Drop your thoughts or critiques in the comments below—all constructive feedback is greatly appreciated! Enjoy the read!

Thank you for your time!

Headshot & Type Feedback: Which looks sell my range best for acting/VO, and what age/types do you read me as?

Hey everyone!

I’m currently updating my casting package and portfolio for acting, voiceover work, and creative collaborations.

Beyond working on-camera and behind the mic, I’m also a writer, world-builder, and scriptwriter, so I really value seeing how my visual brand translates to character archetypes.

I’m looking to narrow down my lead images for casting platforms (Actors Access, Backstage, casting subs, etc.) and would love your honest feedback.

A few quick questions for you all:

  1. What immediate character types or archetypes come to mind when you look at these? (e.g., tech innovator, antagonist/villain, detective, mentor, creative, etc.)

  2. What age range would you read me for on-screen or voice roles?

  3. Which shot stands out to you as the strongest overall primary headshot (commercial vs. theatrical)?

  4. From a writer/creator perspective, do any of these looks jump out as a character you'd write a script or voice role for? Appreciate any honest feedback on the framing, lighting, and overall casting appeal. Thanks in advance for taking a look!

First time posting here—working on script drafts & character bibles for an indie animated series. Open to feedback!

Hey everyone!

New to the sub and excited to connect with other writers. I’ve been deep in the development phase for an original animated series titled Pinner Road Prodigies.

We’ve been mapping out script drafts, pilot episodes, character bibles, and multi-generational family dynamics. We just launched our official site to host the world and character lineup.

As a writer, I’d love to get feedback from fellow screenwriters and storytellers on the premise, character setups, and dynamic relationships we're building.

Check out the main hub and character roster here:

(If you click "Meet the Characters" in the top right-hand corner, you can view the full character lineup and bios!)

Would love to hear your honest thoughts, critiques, or notes on the character concepts. Thanks for taking a look!
