I'm an international student (asia) interested in HKU/HKUST/Hong Kong in general for undergraduate studies in neuroscience.

I'm currently in a situation where i have to decide between:

1. Hong kong University / HKUST with fin aid or

2. Lower tier US College with fin aid but more costly than hong kong.

I wanted to compare experiences in Hong Kong with US colleges to see which option was better.

If anyone could type out the school atmosphere, routine, work-life balance, campus life, etc in hong kong, I would greatly apprecitate it - thank you!

I was curious what the aprx. cut-offs were for scholarship in HKU for SAT/AP students because I could not find them anywhere.

I'm currently a rising senior from an Asian country that wants to ED to JHU.

What I like about JHU is its focus on research. As an aspiring neuroscientist/neurologist, early research opportunities and the close-knit community of professors and students was one of JHU's strongest appeals.

However, I would like to learn more about JHU's student life (safety, food, weather, and many many others etc).
