The vine and leaf detailing wraps around the band and up toward the stone — wanted something that felt organic rather than a standard prong setting. Curious what people think of the emerald with this kind of setting, and which gold tone you’re drawn to.

Vintage-inspired vine & leaf engagement ring with a 0.70ct pear cut diamond, in rose, yellow, and white gold

This piece was designed around a pear cut diamond (0.70ct, GIA certified, VS2 clarity, E color), with vine and leaf details winding around the band to give it a soft, organic, almost antique feel. Total diamond weight including the accent stones comes to about 0.78ct.

Made in 14k gold — I put together rose, yellow, and white gold versions since the design reads really differently depending on the metal tone. Curious which one people are drawn to most, or if you have thoughts on the vine detailing.

Spent weeks perfecting this emerald cut halo design — vintage filigree details throughout

wanted to share this one because the design process was more involved than usual. Center stone is a GIA certified 0.50ct emerald cut diamond, SI1 clarity, F color — I chose F specifically because emerald cuts have such a wide open table that any warmth in the stone shows immediately, so color matters more here than with other cuts.
The halo is scalloped rather than a simple round outline, which took several iterations to get right. Emerald cut stones are rectangular, so a standard round halo tends to leave awkward gaps at the corners. I built this one with a slightly Gothic/vintage silhouette instead, more diamonds concentrated at the corners to frame the shape properly.
The band alternates milgrain-edged marquise links with small pavé sections, total diamond weight comes to 0.74ct across the whole piece. Made in 14k, and it’s one of those rare designs that genuinely looks different in white vs yellow vs rose gold, the yellow brings out warmth in the halo, the white keeps it crisp and lets the stone do all the talking.
Really proud of how this one turned out, curious what everyone thinks of the scalloped halo vs a more traditional round one.Thank you.

Handmade vintage-style emerald ring with natural gemstone – would love your thoughts

I handcrafted this ring myself, featuring a natural emerald-cut emerald surrounded by a floral halo of diamonds, set in a milgrain vintage-inspired band. I wanted to combine an antique aesthetic with a modern, wearable design.
This one took me a while to get right — balancing the halo shape around the emerald so it would look delicate but still make the stone the focal point. Would genuinely love to hear what you all think, and any feedback is welcome!
