How do you cope with your unemployment era?
Hey everyone,
I am a Mumbai based (1st) Assistant Cinematographer with 6-7 years in the industry, I have worked on 4 well reputed feature films and around 200-300 ad films.
In my early days, I used to panic the moment project enquiries dried up. That phase seems to be back..
I have been without work for a month now, and honestly, I can’t figure out why.
I know it’s not permanent, though.
Also I am want to crack as DP, I am looking for indie projects to build my showreel.
Spoken candidly to all my comrades regarding work and all
what would you suggest I do next?
Is AI actually affecting the market?
or are there simply fewer projects right now?
And where do you think this filmmaking industry is heading?
Also the budget are so low these day and late payments system you all were aware of!
Would really appreciate any advice, leads, or honest thoughts.
