My sister suspects her husband may be gay and is considering divorce

My sister has been married for some time about less than a year, and the marriage has been quite difficult. There have been a lot of problems between her and her husband, as well as ongoing issues with her mother-in-law.

Recently, my sister has started suspecting that her husband may be gay. She doesn’t have definitive proof, but there are certain things that have made her seriously question his sexuality and whether he genuinely wants to be in the marriage.

At this point, the marriage has deteriorated to the point where she is considering getting a divorce. The problems with her mother-in-law have also contributed significantly to how unhappy she has become.

I’d really appreciate advice from people who have experienced something similar, particularly on how to handle this calmly and respectfully while making sure my sister protects herself.

Am I being unreasonable for asking for more than a 15% hike after 18 months without a salary revision?

I’m looking for some objective opinions on a salary discussion I’m currently having with my employer.

Here’s the timeline:

My last salary revision was in February 2025.
In February 2026, the company restructured one of its programs, and my role changed from my previous position to a Consultant under the new program. My responsibilities increased significantly, but there was no salary revision despite the role change.
From February through July, I worked under the new structure, handling responsibilities across multiple teams. I was repeatedly told that my FTE conversion was in progress and that it would happen soon, so I continued taking on the additional work with the understanding that my compensation would be revised upon conversion.

Since April, I’ve been hearing that the FTE conversion is almost ready, but it kept getting postponed month after month.

Now, my FTE conversion is finally happening, and HR has said the salary increase will be 15%, stating that this is the standard increment for FTE conversion.

My concern is that this doesn’t feel like a typical FTE conversion.

From my perspective:

I haven’t had a salary revision since February 2025.
I accepted a role transition in February 2026 with increased responsibilities but no pay revision.
I worked for several months under the expectation that the delayed FTE conversion would also address compensation.
During this time, I supported multiple teams and continued taking on additional responsibilities as the Prime program evolved.
Because of this, I feel that treating this as just a standard 15% FTE increment doesn’t fully account for everything that’s happened over the last several months.

I’m considering asking for 20–25% instead.
Does that seem like a reasonable request, or am I looking at this the wrong way? I’d especially appreciate perspectives from HR professionals, managers, or anyone who’s been through a delayed FTE conversion.

Savanna Anniversary Sale!

Hey Girlies, Im so confused about Savanna Anniversary sale. Logically Sale means you’re gonna get stuff a bit cheaper than usual but savanna sale I feel is a scam. I had a skirt added to my cart wayyy months ago. Today when I checked during the sale the prices went up by 200 rupees, initially it was around 1100 now it is 1300… I see discounts on only accessories, even bag prices are same. Where is the discount, sale price?!
