2 year old co sleeping breast fed toddler needs to stop before I lose what’s left of my sanity

As the title implies I’m literally at the end of my rope and hanging onto sanity by a thread. How, how on earth is it possible to get a breast addicted, co sleeping asshole toddler out of my bed? It’s ruining my marriage, my career, obviously my mental health.

He nurses all fucking day whenever I sit down. There’s hardly anything left but he’s still sucking. insane tantrum if I try to say no. I never crib/sleep trained him which is my number one all time regret of my life. About 6 months ago I moved him into a cool race car bed that he loves for naps and bedtime. As expected the only way, ONLY way he can ever fall asleep is sucking my boobs. There is no rocking, no sitting in a chair nearby (hilarious to even think about), no letting dad help. That would be fine honestly except he wakes up all. Fucking. night. Every 2-3 hours. I nurse him in his room, but he’ll eventuslly end up in my bed every single morning without fail. Half the time it doesn’t even wake me up because I’m dead tired from my job that I had no time for (freelance from home with literally every child-free minute). My husband just wants alone time in bed and no kids there. Id also like to wean him because it must be the first step. I’ll post in that sub too but I’m desperate and lost and hopeless. I do love my kid but he’s ruining my life currently.

Edit to add his schedule, which I’m also super embarrassed about but it’s the only thing that works for our choatic family- he’s the youngest of 5.

930-10 wake up

4-6 nap

11/1130/12 bed (or as I like to call it, first bed)

Should deposit ever be refundable?

Obviously I have in my contract that my deposit is non refundable, but I just had a client who canceled about a week after sending over their deposit. Idk what happened, I thought we had a great connection and was excited to shoot their wedding. I don’t really want to send back their deposit (I’ve already put a couple hours into meeting & planning, drafting contracts) but now I feel bad. It’s a date I can probably fill next year though. Wwyd?

Bridal show advice

Hi! I’ve been doing this for a few years and have never set foot in a bridal show. A newer venue in my neighborhood (that I‘ve worked a couple times) is hosting a bridal show next month and invited me to participate (the fee is pretty reasonable). I think I should go try to score more local bookings.

My question is, what do I need for a bridal show (besides the obvious signage, albums of work, business cards)? Do you try to get brides to leave their emails or something? I honestly have no idea what goes on bridal shows, I get plenty of business so I’ve never been tempted to do one before. thank you!!

Looking for couples getting married in Amsterdam in 2027

Hi, I’m from the US and my husband and I spent an incredible honeymoon in Amsterdam in 2016. I’m hoping to travel back sometime next year for our 10th anniversary, and I’d LOVE to be able to somehow work shooting/filming a wedding into the trip. I am a wedding photographer & videographer and my specialty is film and Super 8. Not sure if posting the link to my business website would be allowed here, but please DM me if you are a couple planning a 2027 wedding or elopement in Amsterdam (or nearby). Would be mutually amazing experience I promise ❤️

Dropped Lumix s5ii, what to check for damage?

I shoot mainly video, my 2nd shooter dropped my very new s5ii last night during a wedding gig and I’m pretty upset about it. (I say dropped but really it was more like a fully extended monopod went crashing slowly to the ground). He said it looked like it landed partially on a wooden board for corn hole (on top of concrete patio). I saw it fall but couldn’t see the actual impact. The edge of the rear lcd monitor is scuffed up but otherwise it appears ok, he used it for the final hour or so of the event. How do I know if the IBIS and all the internal mechanisms are ok!? I’m so careful with my equipment and this just gutted me. (The second shooter was my husband 😬 so I can’t even fire him lol).

Second shooter needs own COI?

I have never been asked this before but I just submitted my COI for a wedding venue and they are asking if my second shooter is an owner of the company or W2 employee because they don’t see workers comp listed in my COI. My second is a 1099-NEC for me, and I’m worried they are going to come back telling me she needs her own COI. She doesn’t own a company and just works as a second shooter. Has anyone ever experienced this? Half the venues I work don’t even ask for my COI and the ones that do have never asked about my second. 2 years doing this full time.

Wondering which instant film cameras other wedding photographers are using. I have an old school Polaroid 636 but the photos are terrible quility, I wouldn’t charge for them. I’ve had brides asking for polaroid add ons (I do 35mm and super 8) but I don’t know where to start with a quality instant camera.
