Why does no one talk about pairing the Edifier R1280DBs with the Edifier T5 sub?

I haven't seen anyone pairing these two for a very budget friendly 2.1 setup. I wonder if they are actually THAT bad?

Personally, I'm thinking about getting them in the future as my first audio setup, so any advice or thoughts would be really helpful.

Also, I'm from India, so I have very limited options available.

The tax on buying a car in the USA is straightforward and fixed, while India has a very complicated, layered tax structure.

Here is the quick comparison: In the USA: You pay a simple, flat state sales tax of around 7% to 9% plus a few hundred dollars for basic registration.

In India: The moment a car is larger than 4 meters or has an engine over 1500cc, it hits the highest brackets. You are forced to pay a flat 28% base GST + up to 22% Compensation Cess + 10% to 15% RTO.

In short, in the USA you pay around 7%–9% tax, but in India you have to pay around 40% to 50% of your car's actual value just as tax! Man, you could buy another car entirely with that tax money alone.

I smell the wind of this dirty game. They won't improve the infrastructure nor the public transport. People are left with no choice but to buy a personal vehicle for their family's safety and boom, jackpot for the government.

You dirty big-fat scumbag politicians. Screw you. It is sickening how hard working citizens are exploited just to have a decent standard of life.

P.S. AI chatbots are just a tool for getting quick information. I used gemini to double check these tax figures and clean up my phrasing, but please just take this as a rant. I've been dreaming of buying a car in the distant future but learning about this reality makes me fear that for someone from a lower middle class family getting a decent car is becoming an impossible dream.
