(Yes, I know the outside of the tank is so dirty. Again, I just left the tank tf alone 🤣) I know there has to be others out there like me that struggled to have a thriving shrimp tank. For months I did water changes weekly, tested parameters daily, often multiple times a day. Chased perfect params. Still had shrimp dying often and no babies. Now, after only doing water changes monthly, letting the plants grow wild, and just leaving the tank TF ALONE- I have more babies than I can count!! It’s such a wonderful feeling 🥰
I was under the assumption that all of my hitchhiker snails were bladders. After looking at this one closer, I noticed the antennas look more pond snail shape than bladder shaped. What do you guys think? It doesn’t matter to me either way really, just curious :)
As the title states, looking for these colors neocaridina! I will pay or can trade juvie guppies, blue or chestnut mystery snails, various floating plants or moss
What does one do with an excessive amount of floating plants? I hate just throwing them away, but that’s what I’ve been having to do so that my ground plants don’t die. Ive tried drying out the duckweed and salvinia and making fish food, but my creatures have 0 interest in the food. Can anyone share a good recipe?
Pictures of the tops of all 4 of my tanks for reference 😅
It looks like she is losing her eggs 😥
Please take what you’d like and feel free to explore, shake trees, pick up fallen fruit and wood, pick veggies, flowers. Loads of DIY’s, bells, clothes, and miscellaneous items. Message for dodo code 😊
Guys, what are these egg shaped things on my shrimp’s stomach?!
😉😉😉😉
I finally get to be part of the joke
I am interested in adding a CO2 system to my 30 gal planted freshwater tank. I have no idea where to even start. Can anyone give me recs on what I should get? What has worked for you? And where do I get everything? Thanks in advance!
When I look it up on google it says scutariella japonica, but the images on google look nothing like what this looks like. I noticed one on the underside belly of another shrimp. I have been treating the tank with Microbe-Lift Artemiss for several days and they’re not going away. Does anyone have experience with this? Are there treatment options that won’t hurt the shrimp?
