Negotiated a base trim 2015 Infiniti Q50 3.7 from $15,750 to $13,500 clean Carfax but no Premium package. Good deal or pass?

2015 Infiniti Q50 3.7 (base trim, RWD), 68,500 miles. No heated seats, no Bose, no auto-dimming mirror. But it does have a moonroof.

Carfax highlights:

  • No accidents or damage reported, ever
  • No structural damage, no airbag deployment, no odometer issues, clean title
  • 3 owners on paper, but really: dealer → 14-month owner → ~2-year owner → current owner who's had it for the last 8 years, all in NC
  • Full service history under the current owner through Infiniti — brake pads, 4-wheel alignment, regular maintenance inspections
  • CARFAX's own "History-Based Value" estimate: $15,420

Negotiation**:** Started at $15,750 got them down to $13,500.

Questions on the missing equipment:

  • Can I add an auto-dimming mirror to this car which never had one? Assuming it needs the right harness/connector for a car without nav and without pre-collision.
  • Is the base 6-speaker system vs the Bose setup that big of a difference in real world listening or is it overhyped?

Is $13,500 fair for this given the clean history & low mileage even without the Premium equipment? Anyone had valve body issues and how to much to fix?

I need to decide by 1pm tomorrow so any thoughts before then would genuinely help!!!

Should I buy a 2013 BMW 528i with around 85k Miles?

Hey everyone, I’m 17 and currently looking for my first car. I found a 2013 BMW 528i on Facebook Marketplace with about 85k miles and I wanted to get some opinions from people who know more about these cars than I do.

The seller says it was elderly owned, only had 1 owner, and has a clean title. She also said it recently got new tires & a new battery yr ago and that regular maintenance was done on it. The asking price is $10,500 but she told me she needs to sell it quickly and that the price is negotiable so I’m hoping I could maybe get it closer to around $7k.

Honestly I think the car looks really nice and from what I’ve read the MPG isn’t too bad either. My biggest concern is reliability because I’ve heard BMWs can either be great or become really expensive once they get older. I was mainly wondering if these 2013 528i models are actually reliable long term and what kind of major issues I should look out for. Is 85k miles considered a lot for one of these? If it was maintained properly how long could it realistically last?

I’m definitely planning on looking at asap but I just wanted to hear some opinions first. Thanks for any help.
