Home sweet home: dream edition

I realized I have another category of MallWorld dreams that I frequently have. I call it home sweet home. Some dreams, I am in my current house, but there is something about it that is different or a surprise. Or I'm in a past house or apartment, and it feels like I'm living there in the present. And finally, dreams that recur in a dreamworld house or apartment that I've never lived in, but visit night after night.

Last night, I had one of these dreams. I was in my current house, but in the basement, there were extra rooms and a second kitchen that I had forgotten about. But I have dreamed about this house version before, with the exact same layout.

It makes me wonder what my brain is processing or trying to tell me.

Bethany is bored

Basically, she wants to start a chat group with acquaintances and friends-of-friends and plan outings.

Between this on the GD account, and the new Hot Mom Challenge, I think she's dying of boredom and trying to get a dopamine fix.

Why not take a class at the community college? Get a job? Volunteer? Join a club? Literally none of these options ever occur to them. And yet, she's been posting about how much happier she is just focusing on her family and enjoying time with her kids....

Talk to me - moving somewhere else

Has anyone moved to a new location or climate because of their migraines? How did you decide, and did it actually help?

I keep thinking about this, but I don't know if it's just a fantasy.

Took morning meds - it's bedtime 😩

I swallowed my meds and realized I took my morning meds, not my bedtime meds. Here's hoping the Ritalin doesn't keep me awake. I have an emergency dentist appointment in the morning. That's what I was thinking of when I opened the clearly labeled med minder on the morning side, not the bedtime side. Why does my brain betray me like this??

Crowdsourced Healthcare

What if, and hear me out, we could crowd source healthcare across the whole country? Like everyone pitches in their share and no one is denied access to treatment? What if we used our tax dollars to fund it, and get rid of the rent-seeking middle men to reduce the cost to everyone? Wouldn't that be great??
