I can’t do a Chihiro costume properly with the pink shorts we do get in the game. They’re all too short and too light a shade.
My sister is married, they both work full-time, yet Mom still sends her at least $200 a month, because my sister, and I quote, "doesn't make a lot". They have an apartment, two cars between them, and a dog they paid at least $800 for, if not a thousand or more.
Mom dropped tens of thousands on my sister's wedding, college tuition, bought her two cars (both used, but still), and made the monthly payments on those cars, not to mention paid for all the repairs on the first one. There was also more than one speeding ticket, but my sister's lead foot is a whole other mess. She's done a lot of mildly illegal things, but she's pretty much always gotten away with it, somehow.
Meanwhile, Mom keeps complaining about being in debt and wanting to save up for a new car, yet she refuses to stop coddling my sister and finally make her learn to spend within her means. My sister and her husband are both going to be 26 soon and have already started talking about trying for kids in the next couple years, and Mom wants to retire within the same timeframe.
I can't see this situation improving once there's a fixed income and grandkids. Seems like we'll be lucky if it doesn't get even worse.
I wish the high ponytail and pigtails did the same thing. The pigtails are one of my favorite hairstyles and I hate that they disappear when I put on a rain hat or something.

But I find it funny how the only more adult-oriented franchise of theirs is the one getting the most representation in the game right now. I’m sure there’s some kind of licensing or other issue behind that, but still.
I’m trying to play on Steam, Windows, and I have the Vortex mod organizer/downloader thing. It’s been a couple years, so I can’t remember how I ended up getting it to work last time, or even find the posts/comments where I got the advice that helped in the first place.
I already tried the Properties/Launch Options delete then copy and paste thing, and that didn’t help. What else can I do?
Like the transformation wands, but instead we can just change into whichever wetsuit whenever we want. No more having to keep one in your pockets at all times, or however you might store them. Just one of many random things that pop into my head when I play the game.
I’m at the point where I have more Bells than things to do with them, so I figured I might as well start trying to collect Katrina’s items. I don’t think I’ve even seen all twelve of those figurines before.
I've fully upgraded my storage, and currently have 2,799 out of 9,000 spaces filled. Only 948 of those aren't clothes, and I've only had this current island for about six months.
The worst part is you can’t even remove these square ones without completely ruining the page, and then they’re often placed on dialogue. I don’t know if whoever is doing it hates manga, just loves being an a-hole, or a combination of the two, and of course I never find them until it’s way too late to think of returning the books. Guess I can only hope the next volume of this doesn’t have the tag in an obnoxious place, but I’m still going to have to replace these at some point.
What I mean is, grass/snow to grass/snow, sand to sand, brick path to brick path, custom tile to custom tile.
Or at least being able to choose which one we pop out of. The randomness of it can be a real pain if you have more than two or three on your island.

I’ve been practically falling asleep for two days because I’ve been rudely awoken by my cat, yet now I’m suddenly in this uncanny valley where I’m both tired and wide awake at the same time. How does this even freaking make sense??
Weirdly enough that’s actually one of my favorite aspects of the museum, and there’s at least one display in the bug section that does the same thing.
It’s just fun getting to see the tanks and displays evolve as we make donations, especially if you happen to notice which donation causes each decoration to appear.
I don’t remember him saying this last time I donated this critter, but since I don’t know which one it is, I guess that makes perfect sense. XD
I've only ever had girl characters in the game, so this is just something I've been curious about. Are you stuck getting the mom/dad letters depending on which one to picked when you started your island?
