can anyone tell me the symbolic meaning, if any, of the weird bird creature thing in the bottom right? i feel like it has to be important because its in the foreground and it seems to be the only mythical creature in the painting (besides the flying birds). could it have something to do with the aos sí? or something to emphasize the rider's (guy carrying the stone) stoicism/calmness? i'm also slightly interested in the white and blue thing in the corner. help is much appreciated!
