I had a contact in my left eye and when I tried to take it out to put another in there was nothing there so I assumed it feel out. Then I put in a new one and there is still no contact on my eye. Like I don’t even understand how that can be possible. Do I need to go to the ER?

Caroline starts as the jealous best friend who wants everything Elena has including her boyfriend. After throwing herself at Stefan and being rejected with “it’s never going to happen” she dates Elena’s first boyfriend and current ex instead. She felt like she had no worth and that she was shallow. She constantly wanted to be picked like Elena. She was a literal self proclaimed pick me.

Her character development in the show is some of the best I’ve seen. She learns to love herself and also finds true love from a man unrelated to Elena; Tyler. Their relationship and bond were some of the best parts of the earlier seasons. Just for that to be thrown away. And when she could have ended up with Klaus or Tyler they made her end up with STEFAN. Elena’s ex lover?! Her whole thing was finding herself and not competing with Elena. To have her end up with Stefan is kinda a slap in the face to Caroline’s character. Like and what was even the point of him saying “Itll never happen” just for it to literally happen?! I also find it incredibly unfair that the only successful wedding of the main cast was Stefan and Caroline. Like what does that represent for the show that was meant to be about Stefan and Elena’s love story? I also genuinely got very little romantic chemistry until it was forcefully written in. They always gave siblings and I loved that for them especially since we didn’t have Lexi.

Listen I know this isn’t even really a “who should be with who” battle. It’s all because the writer ruined everything. Ruined Bonnie’s amazing potential cuz the writer is racist. Ruined the main point of the show cuz she thought Ian was hot and wanted to please the fans. Killed off the main character cuz they wouldn’t pay her enough. So it makes sense that there’s a lot of issues. I feel like the original decision to change the story and put Damon with Elena was the catalyst to the downfall of the show. Sorry guys. Love Delena but they shouldn’t have been endgame 🤷🏽‍♀️ I don’t know how we got here from a post about Steroline but alas here we are 🤣

I’m on season 6 episode 17 and I’ve decided to parody Joe I feel now cuz it’s getting harder and harder to watch. I started watching it cuz it’s about werewolves and it seemed right up my alley with supernatural high school drama similar to the vampire diaries. Everyone was saying how great of a show it is. Many people claiming it may be one of the best. There’s also a lot of cool elements going on behind the scenes like with the makeup and effects. There’s a lot of layers to this show that make it a piece of art. However I’m endlessly my the show very disappointed.

From the moment Jackson left everything went downhill. When will show writers learn that the characters do make a story?!!! His absence wasn’t the worst but I just feel like it’s the beginning of a trend of some of the most important characters leaving. He honestly started to become my favorite character by the end of season 2. Not because I even liked him but because his story was so compelling. The way they used his love for Lydia as his redemption was beautiful. And the scene where he finally turns for the first time was arguably one of the best shot transformation scenes. I genuinely was in awe. I was so excited to see where his story would go. If he would end up apart of the pack. How him and Lydia would work out. And boom he’s gone. I know it’s cuz the actor went to Arrow. Crazy cuz I actually was watching arrow during the time he came on and I’ve come to realize he was better in teen wolf anyway. I don’t really remember his role in Arrow that much or if his character was as interesting so I may need to rewatch but like he should’ve just stayed on teen wolf. Like how do you have a whole season dedicated to him just to not have him in the show after that?

Then Allison and Isaac. It was bad enough the show trying to force them together. For who? I have no idea like it was so forced. But then removing them altogether was just too much. Fuck Liam, Isaac was THE Beta. His relationship with Scott came close to Scott and Stiles relationship. They lived together for gods sake that was Scott’s brother. The only werewolf who chose Scott as his alpha. Isaac was so loyal it just added something special to the pack. And having him get with Allison made sense. Hell, Alison and Scott’s break up didn’t make sense. It wasn’t like they ever stopped liking each other. It was just Alison was a bitch and tried to kill everyone and needed space and somehow fell out of love with Scott because of that but then ends up falling for another werewolf? Her character was integral to the show. I don’t know why they didn’t use the bestiary more and why Alison’s hunter knowledge wasn’t used more in the show to advance the plot but that’s what I expected after her whole hunter arc. Instead she just becomes useless and dies after homie hopping😭 maybe they did her dirty cuz they were and she was leaving I don’t know. But it’s like when Elena left the vampire diaries. It makes no sense to remove such an important character

And because she left we lost Isaac, our best werewolf character in the pack other than Scott AND Alison’s dad who had an interesting storyline of his own. BAM we’ve lost like half of the main cast. And then Derek, Deaton, and Braeden. Then they force a whole new love interest on Scott just for her to leave too. And they missed the potential Kira had as well. Her character could’ve been so cool if they didn’t make her literally so boring. They should’ve leaned more into the Kitsune folklore and swordsmanship. Maybe she could’ve taught the pack how to fight or something. Maybe actually use her kitsune power more than a few times. But they didn’t wanna pay the actress so they fucked that up too. Her character just felt forced onto Scott and flat. Not once did I ever feel the chemistry between her and Scott.

Then we have Malia and Stiles. WTF do you mean I sat through all of that just for it to be undone by one line. Malia and Stiles had something so special. They are the only couple I genuinely liked and felt organic to me. Every other relationship was clearly a plot device or felt forced. But I get they were trying to set Stiles up with Lydia from the beginning. They just executed it horribly. Like they had them acting on screen as siblings for way too long. They both fell in love with other people and never mentioned each other except for one random kiss. And then Stiles and Malia break up for no apparent reason JUST so he can get with Lydia. This implies that every relationship they had beforehand was baseless and fake and that’s just not true when it comes to Stiles and Malia. If Lydia and Stiles were always going to end up together I think they should’ve went about it differently. I think that’s also why they needed Jackson’s character. If he would’ve stayed with Lydia eventually they could end used his character treating her badly as a Segway to her getting with stiles. And maybe while stiles was with Malia they should’ve had some scenes where they argue about Lydia or Malia gets jealous of his relationship with her causing them both to question his true feelings. But instead there was just a huge disconnect. They both fell in love with other people. Both relationships ended with no explanation or closure for fans. And the boom now Lydia and Stiles are in love? Yea no. Weakest relationship in the show. Actually I don’t know cuz then we have Scott and Malia… like what?! Absolutely not. This just makes no sense to me.

TLDR:

None of the relationships makes sense and for me the romance is very important. The lack of development and closure in the relationships just makes them all fall flat.

Losing a bunch of characters with genuinely interesting roles to play also ruins the vibe of the show since it’s meant to be about finding your tribe and whatnot.

It just felt like everything was underdone. At no point was I satisfied with the story. I’m sorry to the fans if that’s upsetting for you. It’s a good show but coming in as a new watcher based on the reviews left me a little disappointed.

This is ling that’s why I called it a deep dive so prepare:

I see a lot of arguments still trying to defend Charlotte. But less in defense of Charlotte and more offense to Cleo. Why she was the problem. And while I think everyone involved did some stupid things, it needs to be made clear that at the end of the day Charlotte was the true villain and the real problem.

Charlotte when she meets Lewis immediately is attracted to him and staring at him knowing he has a gf. Ignores Cleo completely. We are meant to believe she likes Lewis just from this one scene.

She then tries to hang out with Lewis are we supposed to assume she just what’s to be friends? No she wants to be involved in his life cuz she likes him. Literally never is a girl in the show hanging out with a guy as just a friend expect Lewis.

The moment Cleo and Lewis break up she’s there to try and comfort him. We think this is because she’s nice and wants to be his friend? Why would we think that when she didn’t even try to become friends with Cleo. Clearly her goal here is not friendship.

Cleo breaks up with Lewis cuz she feels she can’t handle all the new stuff going on along with being a mermaid. She never told Lewis she didn’t like him or want to be with him. Just that it was too much. I personally believe they both knew that they both still liked each other. Lewis continues to stay loyal to Cleo and this is why I think he knows she still likes him and just needs space.

Charlotte forced herself onto Lewis. Never once does he go to her to hangout. She always found him and inserted herself.

This obviously makes Cleo curious about the new girl and yes she reads Charlottes diary first and confronts her in a mean way. We’ve gotten this far and this is the only negative thing Cleo has done while Charlotte has been setting up her entire villain arc from the jump.

Charlotte and her mom come over to Cleo’s to cook dinner. During this Charlotte purposefully bumps into Cleo with flour so she’ll run away and Charlotte will get time with Lewis. During their time at the house Lewis is taking with Charlotte privately and they hug. The moment Lewis sees Cleo he pushes Charlotte away and says “it’s not what it looks like”. This should have shown to Charlotte that Lewis was still committed to Cleo and didn’t like her that way.

Cleo then tells Charlotte that she can persue Lewis. I hate this moment for Cleo cuz it’s so anti girls girl. But they’re teenagers so it makes sense she wouldn’t be honest with some girl she barely knows. Charlotte also wasn’t acting very girls girls up to this point also. We also have to remember that at this point Cleo thinks Charlotte is about to become her step sister and move in. Like she’s freaking out cuz this one girl is taking everything from her. So she goes downstairs and sabotages the dinner. In no way did this truly hurt the mom or Charlotte. This wasn’t a great thing they did since the reason ended up being false but I don’t think we can use this scene as ammo against the girls as to why there the problem. This didn’t really affect the love triangle or Charlotte.

I think it’s after this that Charlotte passive aggressively gives Lewis’ jacket to Cleo. This is quite literally mean girl behavior for no reason. At this point Cleo gave them the green light and was acting on it. She didn’t get upset about the jacket.

Lewis and Charlotte have a conversation that ends with Charlotte basically saying she’ll wait for him to get over Cleo. So she admits to knowing he doesn’t like her and still likes Cleo. Yet still forced him to hangout with her and then kisses him against his will. This is assault and i think more people would see that if the genders were swapped which is just sad.

Charlotte turns Lewis’s phone off so Cleo can’t call when she needs help.

Charlotte sabotages / takes over Cleo’s studying so that Lewis won’t do it despite him spending all day trying to prepare to help Cleo.

Charlotte then steals from Cleo’s room.

Once she becomes a mermaid she doesn’t take the girls seriously and thinks they trying to control her. Probably because she too is manipulative and controlling so she doesn’t think the girls actually care.

She then tries to hurt animals and people with her powers before finally getting them taken away.

She takes Cleo’s locket forcibly. Yes it was her grandmothers but her grandmother threw it into the ocean so it belonged to no one she technically had no right to claim it was hers. To do that implies that you own anything that ever belonged to your grandparents even if they gave it away or didn’t want you to have it. Cleo found it so it’s hers. If Gracie wanted Charlotte to have the necklace she would’ve given it to her.

Then she takes over Lewis’ party and locks the girls in a room that if unlocked will expose their (including charlottes) secret.

She even tries to hurt the girls again during the full moon.

Charlotte was always the problem. The counter argument I always hear is that they all were the problem and all need to be held accountable. While that is true I think it’s also okay to quantify which behaviors were worse and imo Charlottes behaviors were the worst.

Wdym you want me to put whip on top of liquid and then also all the toppings? It makes a mess every time unless you put the lid on first and then put the whip but then the customer will get mad cuz the toppings are under the whip and not on top.
