What exactly is "Accelerated Aging" that Snake suffered in MGS4?

I had a debate with my friend about why Old Snake is still so fit for a 70-year-old man.

Whether it's because his genes were modified to make him die faster while he still retained some of the physical capabilities of his late 50s.
Or whether it's simply the Muscle Suit and the genes of "The Greatest Soldier of the 20th century" that are responsible for his performance.

Games where Loadout Preparation, like in MGSV, has some sort of impact every times you set out for missions/free-roam ?

First of all, I would like to apologize to anyone who finds my posts asking for game suggestions annoying. As a huge fan of the MGS series, most of the games I'm looking for share some traits with it, so I'm worried that if I posted in other subreddits, the suggestions might not carry the core ideas and spirit of Metal Gear Solid games.

One of the factors I find Kojima has done so well, but that is rarely discussed, is how deeply you can dictate the way you play by carefully selecting which weapons, gadgets to bring along. Those items are so well balanced that they always give me a flush of satisfaction every time I find out that my Loadout works efficiently, which, to me, feels just as rewarding as noticing that my stealth, shooting, and movement skills are progressively improving.

So, I am looking for some fighting games where we need to carefully plan out the way we are going to play by selecting a set of skills, items, and spells that are most optimized against certain types of enemies, bosses, or that can be combined to create the most effective and flashy combos.

I think some games in the (A)RPG and Roguelite genres could meet a few of the criteria on this list.

My unpopular (not sure what you guys think) opinion about Dishonored.

After all these years as an action game fan, having played most Soulslikes, hack-and-slash games, and action RPGs, I have come to the conclusion that Dishonored 1/2 has the best combat system (not just “one of the best”).
And these are the reasons for my choice:

  1. Perfect balance between different types of enemies : A group of watch guards can still catch you off guards even in late game while you can still figure out ways to deal with isolated Tall Boys despite lacking of Abilities.
  2. Sastifying rewards for try-hard players but also newbie-friendly: (This is my favourite features in history of gaming) Mastering hidden "tools" like: leaning to dodge bullets, ducking to avoid horizonal slashes, severed torso as shield, throwing head to stun,... make you become an unstoppable force while off-hand gun/crossbow and parrying is still enough to help you go loud.
  3. Combine 2 factors above you got a game so balance between you and enemies: they can also dodge your attack and one-shot you with a counter even when you want to keep distance they can still sniping with aim-bot accuracy....

There are so much so much to talk about this Masterpiece that I plan for a Youtube video to cover it up ,not promotion it just I think beside stealth and it Immersive-Sim Abilities, Dishonored's combat got overlook sometimes.

Looking for games like TPP but combat,melee-based.

This masterpiece is probably the best game I have ever played, so I am looking for games that share the core traits that make TPP iconic: allowing players to roam freely during missions, providing a vast number of options to complete objectives, and offering both fascinating stealth gameplay and satisfying combat (gunplay).

*Immersive sims like Dishonored (while being my second favorite game) seem to lack freedom , as you're locked into certain maps for specific missions.

Assassin's Creed's combat isn't that satisfying to me.

It looks like the closest one I've played is Middle-earth series.*

This could be my worst nightmare...

*This is my first post so I deeply sorry if this question is inappropriate as I tend to take things way too serious but...

How bad Ashley could mentally get if she got r*pe or even worse, impregnated by someones that not Andrew?

Meanwhile, how destructive the wrath of Andrew could unleash on our guys?

The representativeness of American's sport (Basketball / Football)?

First of all, i am sorry for any misundertand i might cost in this post, i am not a native English speaker so some word choice may be not that good. This question is purely out for curiosity.
As college soccer player, I always wonder why American love basketball and football so much?
Because after some questions I figured out that one of the reason that make me and ones I know love soccer is that we feel representative ( like those superstars are just physically look like us), which I can't feel when watch NBA's matches.
While soccer player average height is just merely same as average people. Footballer and Basketball players are just athletic freak.
So do Americans feel representated while watching them?

An Alternative Universe for Metro.

How much different might the plot be if the good ending in 2033 became canon?

It looks like, despite having a dark and bleak theme, both the novels and the game series slowly move toward a more hopeful ending after each game/book. But somehow I feel the worst ending in the first book/game might be an optimal choice for Artyom, as it “traumatized” him enough to make him able to make better choices later

The Shift in the Atmosphere of Metro Exodus

As someone who has only played the first two games and read 2033 , I've always wondered how other people—including critics—responded to the way 4A Games changed their approach. As the series went from the claustrophobic, dark, and bleak atmosphere in 2033 and Last Light to the more open-world, hopeful tone in Exodus .
So, how people still enjoyed the new direction, even though it moved away from many of the elements that made the Metro series stand out . (Just to be clear, I don't hate Exodus, I'm just curious.)

Secondly, did this shift only happen in the games, or did the 2035 novel also move in a similar direction? If it did, how did readers respond to that change?
