Do anyone know the logic behind this game being cheaper on Steam than gog?

I dont know if its all countries or just mine but the sale % is higher on Steam.
I may still buy it on gog, so that not what I am asking.

I am just curious is anyone knows why?

Itch for a base defence game. Thronefall, They are billions, Cataclismo

I feel I have an itch for base defense game right now, from what I have seen, 3 of the games that I think may be able to fill that is
Thronefall
They Are Billions
Cataclismo

They also seem to be quite different so I am very unsure about them. If I where to follow review ratings, it would be:

  1. Thronefall
  2. Cataclismo
  3. They Are Billions

But not sure if that is the right option.....
For example, maybe thronefall is too simple?

Drill core, Whiskerwood, Frostpunk 2, Rimworld DLCs or other games in that category?

I like Rimworld, considering multiple of the DLCs exept for ideology as that one is too individual people psycology focused.

I loved or liked Frostpunk 1, This War Of Mine, Oxygen Not included, Satisfactory, Endless Legend 1, Stellaris.
Not a fan of Cities Skylines or Topico games. Played HOI4 but it is more OK.

If frostpunk 2, Its quite different from frostpunk 2, but may also be a thing I like, are the DLCs good?

For Whiskerwood: Maybe I should wait until its developed more? But it also may still be fun and may be cheaper now than later if it does what some other early access games do?

I dont usually play rougelites that much, but I think Drill core possibly might be one I would like. But it has good ratings but doesnt look like it have had that many buyers at all. I liked FTL a lot for a while.

Comparing those games to other games that may or may not be mentioned here that I have also played, may also help me decide. Or come with other reccomendations of games I may like! :)

Frostpunk 2, Whiskerwood, Cataclismo, The Alters, cant decide what one to get first.

For reference, I think I would like all of them. I loved Frostpunk 1, but Fronstpunk 2 is different.

Loved these games I have played: This War of Mine, Death Stranding(1), Oxygen Not Included, Satisfactory, Rimworld and ofc plenty of other games.

So any of these some of you would reccoemnd over the others, or less than the others?:

* Frostpunk 2
* Whiskerwood
* Cataclismo
* The Alters

My biggest struggle in life is Executive Function, getting distracted and decision paralysis.

For reference, diagnosed with high functioning autism.

Sure social struggles is problematic too, but in my life personally, I find executive function, problem focusing sometimes and decision paralysis bigger problems for me personally.

For exectuvie dysfunction, I mostly do not have any problem with things that is rutine like taking shower regulary. (My bedtime is not nessesarly exact same time or anything).

But in generall, getting myself to do things I want to, or know I should/have to do, is regulary a hard struggle. Ending up just sitting doing nothing, or more often, doing lot of other things instead like checking discord or news for the 10th time or walking around the room or googeling something I saw in a game two days ago. Its not that the task isnt spesific enough, it is harder if it isnt spesific, but even if it is, it can be a big problem getting myself to just start doing it. on Uni campus I see people come, just sit down and start doing school work, but I dont manage to start like that at all, from sitting down it probably takes me hours to just manangig to force myself to start. Its not that I dont like the subject, sure its easier if I love it but even if I like it it is still a struggle. using 2-4x or more the time on getting things done compared to NT people. And even if I manage to start fast its so easy for me to drop out of that "moment" and start doing other things.

Any that have any tips for this?

I have been unable to make myself or find solution to be better at making decisions easier. For example deciding to buy somethigng or not, WAY to many hours just googeling around and and reading forums without deciding on yes or no, or a lot of other decisions.

Right now I am probably going trying to start a new strategy that if I though about something for a while, then it means I should go for it and get it even if I am actually undecided. I dont like wasting money so I am not sure how well this will work or of I will actually do it. Any tips?

ps: not sure what tag was right for this post so choose this one.

When eventually getting a new bike, what should I look for if I want a bike if I prefer, low matinance over a lot of other things?

With low matinance I mean, If a I can chose between having to do matinance *less often* myself, but with a drawback of when it breaks being more work or having someone do it for me, I want that.

For context I also bike in the winter with snowan ice, with studded tires, and would possibly consider having 2 set of wheels simply because its simpler to switch wheels than it is to change tires 2 times a year. (unless I keep my current bike for winter bike until it breaks).

I do not bike for sport, I bike for commute, so usually 5-15 min 2x a day the whole year. (Maybe this changes when I move.) current bike is categorized as a Hybrid bike.

With experience with my two previous bikes that were relativly cheap, things I know I would look for:
* Not having the cheapest set gears.
* Having sealed bearings and not cup and cone (or what its called)
* Hydraulic breaks ofc, most bikes have this today. (Do some last longer than others?)

Dont care about things that make the bike 200g lighter or 0,1% more efficent. But do care about things that make the bike "just work" without extra tweaking. The Deoere XT gears on current bike have been more reliable than what the cheaper shimano I had on the one before that.

Dont want a bike with super thin tires.

I do not want single speed, but I dont really use all the 3 front + 10 back cogs my current bike has either. (In the back, gear 1-2, 9-10 and maybe 5-6 get less use than the others. (from largest to smallest)) if that affect anything in any answers.

For reference, I am not in US or UK, så spesific brands may not be available here.
And I do not think I will buy a bike *right now* (but who knows) my brain is just curious what to do when I do in 1-3 years maybe?

But I am willing to pay more than my previous bikes if it means lower matinance needs or "it just works" But not for things like, oh, this frame is 300g lighter or its cooler.

Any tips what to look for?

Sorry, this post became larger than I planned for...

Getting an OLED is kinda tempting. But I already have a not bad monitor. Wait or get one now?

I have not really thought much about getting an OLED before now, but now my brain is kinda starting to feel tempted by it. Mostly better contrast and refresh rate.

For reference, my current monitor is an LG 4k 32" 16:9 IPS 60hz.
Yes, I know its only 60hz and IPS, when I got it OLED with that size and resolution was 2k€+ and 4k 144hz IPS that didnt have issues was also expensive or had some issues. And I prioritized 4k 32" and colour(accuracy) over number of hz.
That said it was and is very good for being a 4k 32" 16:9 IPS 60hz, with that I mean no backlight bleed, no IPS glow (Or, its consistent over the whole panel, how do you tell the difference). But sadly only 60hz and the contrast of IPS, 1300:1 and that is obviusly the reasons its tempting to get an OLED.

Right now I have that monitor + a stacked previous 24" 1200p monitor above. If I get an OLED I would probably use OLED as main one, with the 4k IPS 32 as secondary, stacked on top because why not.

For referene, I do not play many MP games at all. I dont care about esports. My gaming is mostly SP games like Cuberpunk, Satisfactory, Oxygen Not Included. Death Stranding. The Alters (havnet gotten yet but will), Metro series etc. (to mention older games) Some SP FPS but a lot of non FPS games.

Obivusly would be used for some other things as well, as som hobby coding, surfing the web etc. But not work from home, I dont do that but its still hours of use every day.

Now If I where to get a new monitor, the requirements would have been:
* 32" 16:9, I think its a really good size. I do not want ultrawide.
* 4k resolution or higher. For gaming 4k is obvisuly enough, but for desktop/text etc, the higher the better.
* 144 hz, Kinda pointless mentioning as all oled monitors is higher than that, but I do not need it.
* My current main monitor have relativly thin/flat edge, with 0 logo visible from the front, and I think that is very nice. Some may think its kinda weird requirement but I do not want a monitor with huge visible logo on the front, a small one or one that is removable/made non visible is ok. So probably not an Asus monitor? (dont care about the back obviusly)
* VESA mount as thats how it will be mounted, so stand doesnt matter.
* My current monitor is matte, but my laptop has glossy 90hz 2,8k OLED and I have no problem with it being glossy.

There is also, even if my current monitor is far from perfect, I have it, its fine and keeping it for a while cost 0 money while buying a new monitor do cost money, and may become cheaper in a while?

When I started this post I only thought writing a few sentances..... But it became much more than that, sorry.

EDIT: If it matters I have 5700X3D and 9070 XT. 1440p upscaled with FSR to 4k do look better to me than native 1440p.
