Added the Police station to my slowly growing street.. found a good deal on Marketplace.
I am happy for now focusing on adding the modulars from this decade. (Whether 2020 counts is a different story haha).
Have the Tudor corner on backlog (early birthday present during the double points week that I am not allowed to build until October haha)
Suggestions welcome on layout and adding a scenery/ story around. My only plan is to add the Shopping street between the Botique hotel and Police station next year and add the Tudor corner to the right corner - pushing the BDP further right for connection reasons. Maybe add one road all along?
All my non set mini figures - CMF, Book / Magazine, BAM.. a burst of joy and happiness every time I look at these colours and themes. Easy to guess what I like most I guess haha.
New addition to the pack.. 31 more to go for my collection.
When Series 29 came out, I was on the lookout for only 10 of the 12.
I didn't follow both Ninjago and Bionicle and was okay to not finding them on the pegs ever given the hype.
But today turned out lucky as the Walmart close to me finally stocked up and what do I find? My missing Trex and the Ronin & Bionicle Cosplayer all together.
Well that completes it until September then :)
I used to only collect HW for a while before finally biting the Matchbox bullet with the Chevy Van last year.
Glad that I found Matchbox in one of its greatest times.. the models are so clean and neat.. loving these.
And the all black models are chef kiss.
My little collection - and the Toyota and Black sub themes.
I previously posted my attempt at collecting premium castings (metal base and rubber tires with no repeat castings) with decals from 1-100.
Just wanted to share progress here :)
Still missing 35 but slowly getting there!!
I completed the Museum today and finally was able to set up my 3 modulars.. I ll go for the Tudor corner next - sometime later this year maybe, and plan to continue to Shopping street in time.
I entered way too late to get the ones prior and I am okay with that.
For display I was considering the Ikea lack wall shelf (https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/lack-wall-shelf-black-brown-40103751) or similar to have a straight line street. Anyone have experience with this setup? Would appreciate any pictures - thanks in advance :)
