You guys,

It's my birthday, a round one, too. Guess who showed up unannounced. Acting like nothing happened, trying to gain access to me. Several years of NC and absolutely no reaction from my side wasn't clue enough, I guess.

Once she even came into my apartment and I refused to see her. The person letting her in, who was instructed to let nobody in as I suffer from long covid and was bedridden at that time, immediately overstayed his welcome and was shown the door that very same day.

My kid, who is not traumatised from years of being beaten to the point CPS stepped in, told her in no uncertain terms that she was neither invited nor welcome.

Do you know the crying without tears? The supposed to be heart tugging crys which can start and stop in an instant, but never any tears (not that people cannot cry for show). But she doesn't know what the problem is, what did she do? Why? My kid said to her "you know she's been ill for years and you always wanted more from her. Even when she asked for help, you only knew how to ask for more". No reaction.

It was that moment that my partner came home from some errands and she, again, starts the same tearless crying, asking what she had done, cause she really didn't know. sigh

He doesn't involve himself with this kind of drama and just told her "it's not a good time. Today is the worst of times for that. It's her (like in my) decision and that's it". He refused to take any gifts as I really don't want anything, anything at all, from her and only accepted some flowers to give to an elderly neighbor who's birthday was yesterday.

Let me tell you, I never felt so loved and protected in my life. It brings tears of joy to my eyes.

I am so very proud of my kid, cause this means I raised a human being that can stand up for themselves and takes no bullshit. And my partner, he always got the door and rid of her when she stood there unannounced. Both are fiercely protective and for someone who always had to fend for themselves, that's something new. This is different.

To anybody reading this: I wish for you to have the same kind of people in your life. Always on your side and protecting you when you have a week moment.

my playback queue is playing all the videos on it in a backwards order. So my last added vid is on the first position on my playlist, and the first one is on last position. It hasn't always been like this but can't say when this started.

I use the app on several FireTV sticks to watch on different TVs

Anybody else experiencing this?

Might this be an "activated wrong option" thing?
