Timing chain help. Polaris Magnum 330
Engine is at top dead center during a combustion stroke. But the crankshaft sprocket marking isn't aligning perfectly with the marking on the case (the discolored link, and the line on the inside of the case). When I adjusted the camshaft, I set the markings relative to the crankshaft sprocket and case marking. But should I be adjusting the camshaft markings for "true" top dead center, even though the lower sprocket markings don't align?
