(Thanks to the other post recommending Kate’s show for reminding me about this!)
I originally went because Scarlett Harlett is in the cast, but I’ve now completely fallen in love with this musical. Every single song is SO good. There are a few that have really stuck with me, and honestly I think the arrangements are on par with some much more established musicals.
The story is also really easy to follow, but there’s actually a lot of depth to it. It manages to say some really meaningful things without making the plot difficult to understand.
And of course our Ru Girls Scarlett Harlett and Victoria Scone are both absolutely fantastic. Please go support them if you’re in Edinburgh! 🫶🏻
(Also, I went to see Kate’s stand-up and Isis from Down Under’s show while I was here, and both are absolutely worth checking out too!)
Hi everyone, I'm thinking about ordering some merchandise from this website:
https://westendmerchandiseshop.com/
Is the website legitimate? Thanks in advance!
I'm thinking about going to The Divine for a drag performance, but I'd probably be going on my own. Is it comfortable to come alone, sit and watch the performance, and leave afterwards?
Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone!
I've actually watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show quite a few times, and I listen to the soundtrack a lot, so I'm very familiar with the film and the music. The only problem is that I'm not a native English speaker, so I don't know the lyrics well enough to actually sing along.
I'm currently in London and noticed that the Prince Charles Cinema is showing a Sing-A-Long-A Rocky Horror Picture Show. I'd absolutely love to see it on the big screen, but I'm a bit worried because I'll probably be going on my own and won't really be able to join in with the singing.
Would it be weird if I mostly just watched, maybe mouthed along to the bits I know, and enjoyed everyone else's energy? I'd love to hear what the experience is like from people who've been before.
I’m not sure if this is allowed, but I’m thinking about choosing the hoodie (RRP £55 I think) as my reward for attending my 9th performance.
Rather than keeping it, I’d be happy to sell it for £40 to someone who wants one. I feel like it’s a win-win I can put the money towards more tickets to keep supporting the show, and someone can get the hoodie for less than retail.
If you’re interested, feel free to DM me with your size. I should have the hoodie sometime next week.
edit: still open to trade! Please dm

Hi! This might be a long shot, but is anyone currently selling a Divina De Campo DDC fan?
I completely missed it when it was officially available, and I’ve been regretting it ever since 😭 I’d really love to get one if anyone is willing to part with theirs.
Please feel free to DM me if you’re selling or know someone who is—thank you so much!
Hi! I’ll probably arrive at West End Live around 3pm on Sunday. Will it still be very crowded by then?
My schedule only really allows me to catch the last few performances, so I’m wondering roughly where I might end up standing if I get there around that time. Would it still be possible to see the stage at all, or should I expect to be quite far back?
Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick experience as a bit of a heads-up.
Yesterday I made a post here offering a free ticket to the London Zoo Nights event. I did have a small ask in return — I hoped the person could help me take some photos of the Lion King costumes on display there.
Someone DM’d me almost immediately and agreed, so I sent them the ticket via email. After that… nothing. No reply, no photos, not even a simple thank you. The ticket is for tonight, I reached out several times and still got nothing.
Out of curiosity, I checked their profile just now and saw that they were commenting on another post minutes ago saying they’re a fan of a certain singer and asking for free tickets there as well.
I know asking for photos was an extra condition on my side, but I still think basic courtesy matters. If you’re kind enough to give something away, it’s worth taking a moment to check who you’re giving it to — especially if you’re hoping it goes to someone who genuinely cares about, for example, the performer or the singer. Just didn’t want others to have the same experience.
Edit: I just checked their recent activity again and realized the ticket they were asking for in another thread is actually for an event in AMERICA tomorrow…!!!!! which makes this whole thing even weirder. Like what the ***k?????
At this point, it honestly feels like this account is just going around asking for any free tickets they can get! Please be careful who you send your tickets to!!
Hey! I’ve got one ticket for London Zoo Nights tonight that I can’t use anymore—my friend can’t make it to London, so I won’t be going either.
It’s free (original price £23.50), I’d just rather someone enjoy it than let it go to waste.
Only small request: if you go, it’d be great if you could take a few clear photos of the Lion King musical costumes they have on display and send them to me :)
First come, first served, just dm me!
Hi! I’ve just moved to London and I saw that Scarlett Harlett and Victoria Scone are doing Acid’s Reign in July at a theatre not too far from me, and I’m really tempted to go.
I looked it up and it seems like the audience sits around small tables rather than in regular theatre seating, which I’ve never experienced before. I’ve mostly only been to West End shows, so I’m not really sure what the vibe is like in comparison.
Is it more interactive with the audience? And what’s the general etiquette—like is it more relaxed than a typical musical? Also wondering if it would feel awkward going alone (I’m quite introverted 😭).
Would love to hear what it’s like if anyone’s been!
I went to see Annie at the New Wimbledon Theatre and while the show itself was genuinely great, my experience sitting in the Upper Circle was honestly a nightmare.
One of the biggest issues was the lighting. There are multiple lights along the side walls that stay on throughout the performance — and they’re very bright. It completely ruined the atmosphere and made it hard to focus on the stage. During the interval, I asked a staff member about it, and they said it’s for safety so people can move on the stairs during the show. I usually sit in the stalls, so maybe this is normal elsewhere, but I’ve never experienced anything this distracting before.
Because the lights never really dimmed, it created a weird environment where people didn’t seem to realise (or care) that the show had started. Within the first 10 minutes, multiple people were still on their phones, even asking their friends “has it started yet?”
Throughout the performance, there was constant talking around me — not even quietly. And it wasn’t kids, it was mostly adults. On top of that, because it was really hot, people were using loud handheld fans, getting up frequently, and moving in and out. The door behind my row kept opening and closing the entire time. Even the seats themselves made loud creaking noises with the slightest movement. And honestly, I think the overly bright auditorium lighting contributed a lot to the lack of theatre etiquette — it felt more like a public space than a performance.
If it weren’t for the incredibly talented cast on stage, I would’ve thought I was sitting in a marketplace.
Does anyone know if Jinkx does stage door?
I haven’t really seen anyone post about it, so I’m wondering if she just doesn’t do stage door for this show?
Thank you!!
Hi! I’m planning to go to the Heavenly Bodies drag show at Freedom Bar Soho on Sunday, May 24, and was wondering if anyone would like to join me :)
I’m 23F polysexual, an international student, and this will be my first time going to a drag show (or even a club) in London. I don’t really have many friends here yet, so I’d really love to meet new people and not go alone 😭
If you’re also thinking of going or don’t mind me tagging along, feel free to message me! 💖
I'm not sure whether this exists or not, but I'm looking for To Wong Foo the Musical! Thank you so much
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on going to my first drag show in London!
I’m an international student currently studying in London, and I’ll be going back to my (pretty conservative) home country later this year (sadly). I’m a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, so I really want to experience a live drag show at least once before I leave.
The thing is, I’m quite introverted, and I don’t really have any queer friends in London, I’m also not used to going to clubs or nightlife spaces...
So I was wondering are there any drag shows in London that are beginner-friendly? Ideally something where I can just go in, sit down, enjoy the performance, and not feel pressured to socialize too much.
Any recommendations or tips would be really appreciated. Thank you! 💖
I’m a complete newbie and just started watching RuPaul’s Drag Race. So far I’ve watched Seasons 1–4, All Stars 1 and 6, and Drag U Seasons 1–3.
I absolutely LOVE Pandora Boxx and her style. I was wondering if there are queens from other seasons who have a similar drag style and personality? (For reference, I also really like Tammie Brown’s style from Season 1.)
Thanks in advance! And please let me know if I said anything incorrectly or used the wrong terms—I’m still new!
(Edit: When I say her style, I mean the kind of 1940s-1950s aesthetic that Pandora often brings to the runway. I really love it…)
I bought the wrong store so just want to give this away!
