What’s the best portable device that can run Red Dead Redemption 2 at full performance for $1,100?
Without immediately turning into a furnace, helicopter, or lagging, I know $1,100 won’t get me those results, but what device comes close?
I’m thinking of getting the Asus ROG Ally X, but I thought I should ask just in case.
I’m sorry if asking something like this is against the rules.
It changes from 1lib.sk to this. Is it safe?
My friend and I are planning on an exchange book day, but I don’t know what to get her.
She really liked Jane Austin’s books, the Kite Runner, a Thousand Splendid Suns, Letters to a Young Poet, and Animal Farm.
She started on The Count of Monte Cristo (so far she likes it), and planning to read Little Dorrit and White Nights.
She likes thought inducing stories, comments on society, DEEP characters, and angst.
What classic books are similar to those?
I’m planning to buy a Kobo Clara BW, but I’ve seen some things rarely mentioned about Kobos that I feel should be mentioned more.
For example:
1- you have to get a 5w plug so you don’t fry their battery life. Is that actually true?
2- crashing and bugging out with poorly formatted sideloaded books (of course, I’ll buy a physical book then sideload it). How do we prevent that? Especially without a laptop/calibre?
Are there more things we should be warned about? These things are expensive, and I’m scared of breaking them.
Hello! I just started reading and I don’t have the money or time to experiment with random books, so If anyone has recommendations to these demanding requests I’d appreciate it greatly.
Please excuse me for any poor grammar or if I broke the rules.

To start: my favorite genre is fantasy, followed by mystery and thriller. I love angst and found family, Detective/investigation stories.
Preferably No
1- No romance. The LESS romance there is, the better. Unless it’s very well past established.
2- No psychological books where the story is only the characters reflecting.
3- No book where EVERY background character dies just so the protagonist’s character can progress, or as empty ‘emotional depth’.
4- No she breasted boobily.
5- I know this is such a ‘controversial’ ask, but please no zionist, racist, homophobic, or transphobic authors.
Preferences. (These all don’t HAVE to be included in the books, just things that makes it better.)
1- The more fantasy elements there is, the better. Like more magic systems or mythical creatures.
2- action/thriller/mystery or angsty/emotional tropes or storylines are a bonus.
3- 3rd person narratives, unlimited or limited omniscient point of view.
Okays.
1- Okay with stand-alone books and series, completed or not.
2- Okay with different tones/moods, leaning towards serious and complex.
3- Okay with classic and modern works.
To compare: these are shows/games I love: Avatar the Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Castlevania (2017 & 2023), Mouse (2021), Moon Knight (2022), Expedition 33, Alan Wake 2, Undertale.

Sorry for the long post!
I’ve already decided to buy a Kobo Clara BW, and this is my first ever ereader.
I’m confused on the recent price increase. The Kobo website doesn’t ship to my country, so I’m planning to buy it from Amazon (unless there’s another option). However, the one from Amazon UK got a price increase, while the one from Amazon Germany is still the same price. Will the one from Germany be different than the one from UK (like language settings)? Should I wait for a discount or will the Germany one have its price increased too?
About sideloading, I’m aware of the Calibre method, but does it absolutely need a laptop/computer? Can’t I use an ipad for it? If not, what other sideloading/jailbreaking methods can I use with an ipad?
I’m sorry if this is not comprehensible, I’m writing this in a panic because of the price increase.
