Hello all.

I've just started a nail tech side gig and I want to do it right and make my clients comfortable, happy and to look forward to their next visit.

I'm completely new to this (coming from software development), I've never been to a nail salon and I'm not familiar with all the intricacies of visiting a nail salon.

What are some dos and don'ts that I should pay attention to? What can I do to stand out (other than already standing out for being a man) and bring the experience to a higher level?

I was walking my dog today and there was a woman standing next to me at the traffic light. I didn't smell any fragrance standing right there next to her.

She walked faster than me and my dog and after she was around 30 meters (100 feet) ahead of me, I realized I could smell a faint floral/sweet scent trail. It wasn't strong, but it was definitely there. It was at night and there weren't any people around so it couldn't have been from someone else.

Now, I'm confused. How could there be 30 meters of sillage if I didn't smell anything right next to her?

On the same subject, how can I check sillage of my own fragrance other than asking a friend to walk behind me?

ELDO offers 4x2ml for 15€ and 20x2ml for 46€ which is insanely affordable.

Which other houses have big and affordable discovery sets?

My collection is roughly 50/50 between masculine and unisex fragrances and I actually prefer unisex and don't mind if it's gently feminine leaning. I also have Lalique Le Parfum and Joop! Le Bain in my collection which are marketed as feminine, but work great as unisex.

However, I recently realized that I can name only a few feminine fragrances (YSL Libre, Zara Gardenia, PdM Delina). Knowing barely a few of them, whenever I smell a fragrance on a woman passing by in the street, it most commonly smells like a generic sweet/floral scent, non-descript really.

Are these things related and would I notice and pick out specific fragrances if I exposed my nose to them more?

I feel like wearing older fragrances is similar to the patient gaming approach. Once the hype dies down, you get to buy an excellent fragrance for a fraction of its heyday price, very few people still wear it, older people will appreciate it, youngsters probably won't even recognize it.

Granted, some older fragrances don't age well and smell very dated (grandpa smell), but I think everything from my collection still holds its own to this day (except for Agua de Colonia Concentrada, that's a blind buy waiting for delivery).

Ja se osjećam nekako premuževno. Prije sam bio mršav (kostur) a sad sam fit i sve kile su mi otišle u ruke/ramena/prsa/leđa dok mi je ostalo i struk ostao mali i dobio sam onaj izraženi V-taper izgled zbog čega se osjećam jako neugodno kao da sam gol. Mrzim koliko muževno to izgleda u ogledalu. Mrzim taj oblik. Također mi smetaju ženski komentari kao i muški. Ja samo postojim i oni bace kompliment "opa izbacio si biceps" (imao sam običnu kratku majicu, a nisu uopće tako veliki tako da nisam ništa izbacio, a svejedno dobio neugodne komentare) Osjećam se jako golo i nesigurno i imam veliki osjećaj srama i sada kada dolazi toplije vrijeme će se to još više vidjeti. Ima li tko slično iskustvo i kako ste si pomogli?

Hello everyone, I've discovered Comme des Garçons perfumes recently and I'm obsessed.

I bought full bottles of Odeur 10 (my new signature) and Black, as well as 5x9ml discovery set including 2, 2 Man, Rouge, Wonderwood and Blackpepper. The small pebble bottles are so adorable!

I've tried Kyoto, Zagorsk, Jaisalmer, Ouarzazate, Avignon, Laurel, Yoyogi, Sugi, Hinoki, Syrus, Marseille, DIA x MEG, Classique Perdu, Odeur 53, Max Richter 01, Standard, Odeur de Théâtre du Châtelet, Zero, Concrete, CdG EDP (1994) and CdG EDP (2011).

I've decided to get full bottles of 2, 2 Man, Copper, Standard, Max Richter 01, Odeur du Théâtre du Châtelet, Zero, Odeur 53 and possibly Rouge, Concrete and Blackpepper.

Being a huge fan of Odeur 10 and 53, I can't wait to try Odeur 71, but it's sold out in the two stores that sell CdG where I live. I'm also very curious about Floriental and Blue Santal.

With all of that said, does anyone know which CdG perfumes are still in active production and which ones are the remaining stock?

I've read that Incense and Monocle series are out of production. There's still stock in my perfume store of choice, but if that's remaining stock, I'd like to own at least 1 from each series, probably Laurel or Sugi and Kyoto or Ouarzazate.

Also, does anyone know which store in EU has Odeur 71 in stock?
