28mm

My lobes have been stretched since 1993. They've gone up and down in size so many times! Currently they're at 28mm and I'd like to get them back up to 50mm. I used to wrap my plugs in teflon tape to stretch and that process is SO SLOW.

What is your method?

4 months and counting

I've made it four months as of today. I still want to smoke (I mean, I've been on/off for decades, of course I do). I haven't. I had a smoking dream last night though, and in it, I bummed a smoke off someone, lit it up and thought "Those reddit folks are gonna be so disappointed". Even though I know logically, I have no personal connection to anyone here, this community does have an impact on me. So I wanted to share that.

Does a pic from the 1980s count?

I had a mohawk for years. It's always been my favorite hair style. I had a bihawk, deathhawk, skinnyhawk, any kind of mohawk you could have, I had it in any color and combo you can imagine but few pics exist, sadly.

1989-2026 (16/53 respectively)

It was never a phase or just a feeling. Counterculture movements can sustain a person's spirit for an entire lifetime. From 13-53 still feeling it through and through.

New to the sub, Ciao Tutti!

This year marks 40 years of punk shows, goth clubs, altering and making my own clothes. I love to see all of your looks! Hi!

I made it 3 months

This sub means a great deal to me. I love to smoke. I really really really love smoking. I started very young and have a lot of sentimental feelings about cigarettes, zippos, late nights drinking and smoking etc. I have quit a number of times in my life, sometimes for a year or two (or more). Sometimes I quit for a couple weeks just to literally catch my breath.

Now in my 50s, I can't deal with the sore lungs, short breath, not being able to dance all night and having low stamina. Since September last year, I've racked up 6 months smoke free in total. Not too shabby.

This sub really helps me, so thank you to the moderators, to whomever created this app and all the lovely people helping each other. Thank you!

My birthday was May 1st. Celebrated by making myself a new pair of jeans and then watching a movie with friends. Getting older sometimes really sucks. This is my 13th year of being disabled and living with chronic pain. Good days/bad days. Still here, still tough as hell and still smiling. Happy Saturday!

This sub has been really helpful. My cravings came back really strong but the idea of my hair or skin smelling like cigarettes is keeping them at bay. Thank you everyone for helping me put this habit down. Big love from sunny CA
