Can Loki project himself when he is sitting as Yggdrasil? That is my theory of his appearance here. He can send infinite such projects anywhere in the timeline.

The way I see it, Loki can project himself (one of his classic magical abilities) in any reality through timespace, through the yggdrasil. Then, he can time slip to that projection, while sitting in the throne.

That would be a cool power.

What was time and reality like before HWR made the loom and why did the branches die when it was destroyed? [Read Body]

Why did the branches die when the loom was destroyed? Shouldn't they actually live harder (thats a made up phrase) given that the failsafe that was pruning the branches is now destroyed?

What was the flow of time like, before the multiversal war and before HWR even created the loom? If the branches existed, why did it need the loom?

As per my understanding, the loom was just a failsafe to prevent HWR variants (and consequently take people's free will). With the loom destroyed, shouldn't the time flow mechanism revert to before HWR built the loom?

What exactly is the purpose of Loki sitting there? HWR variants still pop up.

So basically, why did the branches die?

Fundamentally, what was the difference between Jon and Robb? More or less, both made the same mistakes

After reading a recent post, I realized that both Jon and Robb made the same mistakes in love which led to their downfall.

Robb married Talisa leading to the Red Wedding and Jon bent the knee to Daenerys which led to the North losing faith in him. Now before anyone comes at me with, HE BENT THE KNEE TO DANY TO SURVIVE THE LONG NIGHT, I would like you guys to recall that Jon agreed to bend the knee to Dany AFTER she agreed to help him. This was even questioned by Sansa later on. This was a major flaw in his character (emotionally motivated decision making).

While the consequences of Robb making the decision was much larger, we have to keep in mind that Robb was much younger than Jon when both of them made these decisions. So fundamentally, I am going to assume that if Robb was a little older, he wouldn't have made this rash decision.

In terms of ruling/fighting and governance, I found both of them to be similar in character. So is it safe to assume that Robb would've grown to be the same person (fundamentally) as Jon became?

I know I am oversimplifying a bit however, I am trying to argue their fundamental character traits (as GRR Martin envisioned) to be similar (not exact actions).

Thoughts?

I know I am super late for this but, this is my review of Dhurandhar 2. Its biggest flaw - there is no low point in the movie

I just watched the movie on Netflix, couldn't go to the theatre. I liked the movie but it just wasn't memorable for me (atleast not as memorable as Dhurandhar 1).

The biggest flaw that I just couldn't not notice was that there was no low point in the movie and I don't see anyone else talking about it either. Everything just happens as plan (and as Hamza wants). At a point (especially during the "Unkown Men" chapter) it felt boring because there were no twists or turns in the movie. There were no hardships faced by Hamza like he faced in Dhurandhar 1. Every movie needs to have a low point during the midpoint (like Deadpool becoming Deadpool or 26/11 happening in D1). This is what I felt was lacking.

Obviously there were saddening moments like the things that happened to Jaskirat's family etc., but that was in the beginning and hence cannot be considered as a mid-movie lowpoint. In my opinion, Jaskirat's back story should've been revealed during the introduction of Pinda instead of the beginning when Pinda says "Ghar ki yaad nai aayi jassi".

This is how I think the pacing could be fixed. Without this, the movie just feels like an easy win for Hamza, where everything works exactly as he planned.
