Teenager's pain

I hope this is the highest form of pain you'll receive. (nobody deserves more than this)

A problem a teenage (15-16 y/o) should not be depression or some emotional deep thing. I mean…, cliché questions (“what’s my value in this world?”) are kind of understandable but there is something much deeper—Pain.

Pain is a feeling that gives you discomfort, a big discomfort, a rly big discomfort. Again, this trauma/depression bs is not pain, it’s an excuse for a failure (mind me I am talking about kids who say the exam was traumatizing). They did not see the final boss come.

At some stage in life, we progress through adolescence. Where physical and emotional changes happen drastically. And there is a certain pain that will break you, get you addicted to the pain and end up hurting yourself. Behold…/*drum roll*

Congratulations, you have the last moral before wisdom tooth/teeth at last stage of growth /*fahhhhh*. Genuinely, the discomfort at this level is a—WOW. First the edge of the tooth will almost break through the gum, and naturally you rub it with your tongue. Once you do, there is no coming back. Then, the tooth will break out and you start feeling a sharp thing. Again, naturally, you rub it with your tongue repeatedly.

Now, you are at the stage where half of the tooth broke out and the other half is hardened (gonna come out soon…). Again…naturally, you rub. You rub it again and again to the level you start bleeding from your gum but you still don’t stop. You are addicted at this point. You rub it again and again to the level your tongue hurts.

This is the most painful part—1/4th of your moral under the covered part is the only left and you can feel your tooth by rubbing your tongue. Here, rubbing is not the only thing you do. You press it with your finger slightly lifting the meat covering that part. Now the dose of addiction will get you high. You drool since you open your mouth too long (to move your tongue, and you look like a freak btw).

Yeah, undoubtedly more painful than self-proclaimed “trauma”.

Though, this is just a natural phase, eventually passes, then you live—your life. Here is the thing, some kids are unfortunate enough to feel pain more than this. Some lose their body, some are just born without some organs. Or, like in recent occasions(these days…) they lose their family.

What I am trying to say to any teenager questioning things and think they are paining. Nobody gives a thing and you should not too.

May God protect us from greater pain than your MoRal tooth growing /*fahhhhh*

hows this?

//The holding screw

unscrewed a machine. Saw the inside

can’t show it to anyone,

can’t put it back again

welp…

he repeats the line

His wife prepared lunch,

with a goodbye kiss

He forgot the screws

She caught up,

“You forgot these”

Visited a friend, carrying a croissant

Gathered up all his courage

Stuttered, “hey…want a surprise?”

He asked him to fix it

His friend smiled,

“Typical, get me the screw”

Now he got confused:

“Which screw?”

Then played video games at forty-eight

lost a match to a teenage boy

He muttered,

“The fisher doesn’t always collect fish”

pressing his side pocket,

"Where was the screw again?"

Whenever there is a croissant

He leaves a piece for tomorrow

when he forgets

his ear tingles,

hearing familiar pulses:

“you forgot these”

We forget things.

Small but fundamental

Some held you together

The screws are not always metal.

How is this for a comp

//The modern Diogenes

unscrewed a machine just to see the inside

can’t show it to anyone, can’t put it back again

welp… repeats the line

He’s a 5’7 man with afro hair

He has three kids:

one who got into the Ivies,

A high schooler stressed with assignments due

one in elementary, sweaty in evenings

His wife prepares lunch, with a goodbye kiss

She follows him to the station and says,

“you forgot these”

Visits a friend with a croissant

Then plays video games at forty-eight!

When he loses you hear a groan;

“The fisher doesn’t always collect fish”

Enjoys watching a Frenchie struggling with l’anglaise

or some old person playing table tennis

or some young person trying to reminisce

They say “Why?”, “A different wannabe”

“Call me at your wedding” or a plain “Good luck!”

Asked their dream, their want

“a building under my name, a red Ferrari, Generational wealth”

Or the line I am tired of; “a millionaire”

Then they say “yah, that’s all” … like what?

Maybe ‘he’…he got no yacht to show

But when there is a croissant

He leaves a piece for tomorrow

When he forgets it his ear tingles

“you forgot these”
