Searching to end a cycle and bring in peace

Hello,

I'm not going into excruciating detail here just the basics, just looking for some general guidance.

So, basically around 7-8 years ago my life went topsy turvey and it's led to an ongoing battle on/off with voices/mental health struggles.

Let me preface by saying we do not have a family history of mental illness, nor have I ever abused substances of any kind. I don't even smoke or drink alcohol at all.

Basically without going into detail, I met someone online who I cut off for my own personal reasons and this person kept bringing up the concepts of spiritual practices. I was never interested/never engaged and was an atheist at the time with little interest in this realm.

After cutting this person off I started to get mildly interested in tarot cards and bought a couple of decks as I would call it putzing around. I didn't understand at the time that these things hold weight and to watch how they are used, I thought it was a game.

So, after a couple of weeks of a fallout with said person above and messing around with tarot decks I started seeing screwed up shadow figure and hearing voices.

I've been given so many different perspectives from psychics, religious folks, and spiritualist and am just looking for clarity to reattain my inner peace.

Basically, on and off this whole cycle will come back around with the voices and shadow figures with issues I've already addressed and just keep metaphorically trying to keep the cycle going.

I'm not longer am scared of them, nor do I give much weight to what they say because I believe I've already address what they persist to bring up. I've done my shadow work per day, at least as I see it.

I'm growing sick of paying people for advice to really just have this same garbage keep coming back around every year or so.

When this does come back around, it also seems to try to push the individual back in my mind that I cut off when this started. I'm not placing blame, I'm just looking for understanding and how to break this so I can just live and not keep repeating this again and again.

The only thing I can think why it keeps reminding me of this individual is because they were a musician and I've always been interested in music/learning to play instruments myself. I also think some part of me was interested in spirituality on a deeper level, but didn't want to explore it due to religious trauma of growing up in a Christian household where I was always shut down.

How do I just get my peace back? This honestly I hate to say it is making me hate spirituality altogether.

SSDI auxiliary benefits and 529 accounts

Hello,

Can auxiliary benefits the child is entitled to under my SSDI put in a 529 account that would be under my name until he turns 18 to cover college costs for his future. Until 18 he would be the owner, but not have access to the funds. Parents would control funds.

Discrimination Case with EEOC and Attorney

Hello,

So, I was fired from my place of employment in April and have plenty of documentation. I hired a lawyer and filed with the EEOC the day after I was fired. The lawyer immediately took my case when he saw that I had irrefutable proof of discrimination on the employers part.

A couple weeks ago I got an email asking if me and the employer would be interested in early mediation and asked the attorney about it and never heard anything back? From looking it up, it looks like the employer must have declined because google says that they only have 15 days to decide if they want to mediate to provide an answer.

The EEOC has already issued a right to sue letter with the lawyer sending out both a demand letter and filing a lawsuit.

Realistically, how long could a matter like this take to resolve? Is this more likely to result in settlement, or court hearing?

Auxiliary Benefits and Earning Limits

Hello,

I am posting this because I receive SSDI and am currently pregnant with a due date of the beginning of January.

I already know that in general with just my SSDI income I would qualify for the auxiliary benefits for my son, but after reading a couple other posts about these benefits I am just a little confused on something.

So, for context I don't work and I live with my fiance who does work FT and earns about 50k a year.

Upon seeing other posts I see that there is some kind of benefits earning limit associated with auxiliary benefits.

Being that me and my fiance are not married, but living together and he is the child's father, how would this earning limit affect the minor child qualifying for benefits under my record?

Thanks

SSDI Auxillary Benefits and PT work

Hello,

If I return to work part time, obviously under SGA, will my dependent child still be eligible for auxillary benefits under my SSDI?

Wrongful termination settlement and SSDI

Hello,

I receive SSDI and am suing a former employer for wrongful termination due to discrimination. Will this lawsuit if it leads to a settlement impact my SSDI?

Hello,

I'm posing here for some clarification because every time I talk to someone at the assistance office I seem to get a different answer.

So, I'm on pregnancy Medicaid in the state of PA and it would be me and the unborn child as the household size.

How will a lump sum payment of unemployment affect this type of Medicaid as well as a settlement through an attorney?.

Basically my former employer fired me for being pregnant and I'm going after them for unemployment and suing for discrimination with an attorney.

So, I'm posting this to see what my chances of getting unemployment are.

Basically less than a week ago I found out I was pregnant and was put on lifting restrictions by my doctor.

After I turned the lifting restriction paper into my work telling them that the reason being was pregnancy they took me off the schedule.

2 days after taking me off the schedule I got a termination letter in my email.

I've already filed for unemployment and it's under review and the employer is trying to claim I was fired for poor performance, which is totally untrue, I've never been written up or called into the office. I don't think they have any ground to stand on .

I also have 4 open cases. 1 case says illness/injury, but the doctor's notice I posted said that I'm allowed to work, just with a lifting restriction. They refuse to close this case no matter how many times I call.

The other cases I don't even know why the other 2 are open. They are for employers that I left voluntarily because I found a new job.

Also, if unemployment does get approved, how long does it typically take?

Hello,

I'm posing this because I'm on SSDI and prior to pregnancy I was on the MAWD program through working part-time even though I was over the income limit I was able to keep my Medicaid.

When I found out I was pregnant my MAWD switched over to regular Medicaid. I was told that both me and the baby will have Medicaid for the first year after the baby is born.

I am already planning on putting the child on my fiances coverage after birth

What I want to know is though is that for my household for Medicaid eligibility after the first year would it be me and the baby, or just me. I live with my fiance. The state is PA.

Hello,

Has anyone dealt with pregnancy discrimination at work?

I turned in a Dr's note to my employer with lifting restrictions of 25 pounds due to pregnancy and they took me off the schedule, told me I'm not allowed to work and send me a termination notice a few days later.

I have filed with the EEOC and unemployment.

In the termination notice they cited that I had limited availability which hurt staffing needs which is totally untrue. I think they would get upset that I would not go in on my days off, but I'm under no obligation to do that.

Then, when I filed for unemployment, they told unemployment I had unsatisfactory work performance, when I've never been disciplined there.

Do I have a good chance of getting unemployment?
