When a person is correct about something but gives terrible examples/arguments for it.

that food additive is bad for you because it raises the chance of your eyes simultaneously combusting, not because it's some "chemical you can't pronounce."

"idiocracy was a documentary" -the proof of that claim in r/peoplearestupid

Yes, I do get the irony of my post. Jokes on you tho, it doesn't apply to me, the smartest man alive.

Idolization

"of course he didn't support it, people were still socially conservative" is all you really need to say.

Mant want American labor, very few want to pay for it.

To be clear, I'm not trying to pull a Kelly Osbourne "if you kick out all the latinos who's going to clean your toilets" or imply that immigration is good because it brings cheap labor. it's just that people don't seem to get why people hire those who have very few legal rights.

I was going to be vague about this one but it's about men's issues

Everyone (hyperbole) says they care about men's mental health or job mortality rates for men but the second you try to address it, turns out they just want to have something to blame women for.

Shame on you, not me tho

Because I can taste comments before they are written, I'm telling you that this post is about people being on their high horses despite their hypocrisy and how that "we should improve society somewhat" meme gets used by people who simply want to judge others without being judged themselves. it's not about who does or doesn't do something for whatever reason, especially those who do or doesn't do something totally valid reasons.

Not to sound like your mom but maybe it is that damn phone

Maybe algorithms feeding people a constant stream of negativity and bad news isn't good for the brain. I'm glad I'm the first one to think of this.

Everyone is a lib except for me

I honestly don't know what people mean when they call someone a liberal anymore. I've watched full blown communist and anarchist call each other liberals.

Opinions

I feel like free speech advocacy would be taken more seriously if 90% of it wasn't "why I can't I say vile things about other people without consequence?" Like, where's all the people fired from their job for wanting the homeless housed? I'm not saying people should be fired for what they say but it always hints at what probably was said when people refuse to repeat it.

Do not give them an inch

I've seen too many people not have the ability to tell that a person's problem with Israel is who's doing it, Jews if that needed to be said, and not what Israel is doing.
