Season 2 courtroom slop (spoilers)

I'm sure this has come up before but I'm new to this subreddit and I have to air this grievance. I'm only on the second episode of season 2 and they just >!threw out Joe's confession!<. Literally Googled "season 2 Broadchurch >!confession thrown out stupid!<" and got so many hits. Couldn't they have done better than this?? Just illogical nonsense and I almost want to stop watching because of it.

I also spoiled the result of the trial for myself by accident so I'm really feeling frustrated and not motivated to watch the rest. But I hear season 3 bounces back and is quite good. Should I just get the Cliffnotes of season 2 or is it worth committing for the performances?

What kind of wood are these chairs? Are they worth trying to salvage, or are they trash?

Super beginner here with very sad chairs exposed to the elements. My dad seems to think they are nice acacia or even teak, just with a crappy layer of finish on top that's now peeling, but I don't know how to tell.

This entire perfect batch of hardboiled eggs

One of those batches where you just squeeze the eggs and the peels come right off. I saved so much time, I was able to waste some posting this. 🧘‍♀️

A bit of red nail polish and my 3yo is proud to have his very own FN-2187

They did him (and every one of us) dirty in VIII & IX but I ❤️ Finn in Force Awakens. He's selfless and even though he's scared shitless the whole time he's incredibly brave. It's a great movie and I'll die on that hill (we don't need to talk about how the last two went). I was far too pleased with how this small change turned out.

Edit to add he's just over 9" tall.

I love the style and detail in my tattoos but I'm overthinking the color balance.

I prefer more muted colors and jewel tones but somehow have found myself with pretty vibrant colors. Maybe that's okay, and maybe they'll mute a bit over time anyway? I also got the pepper plant today and I really love how it turned out except that I'm noticing the clash between cool colors in the pink nasturtiums (which I already had) and the super warm colors in the peppers. They just feel so separate (the difference is most stark in the first pic). Will I be able to connect these colors well with future work?I'm such an overthinker, maybe I'm just fishing for compliments because I know I love them, I just feel anxious. I plan to fill in more so it all feels cohesive (awkward elbow gap included).

For the sake of preserving a small amount of my own privacy I won't share the artists here but please feel free to DM if you would like their info.

Update on my RV tank spewing compressed air but not filling with propane!

Update to this post.

We have liftoff!

It was not compressed air spewing out, it was propane. The original guy said it must be air because it wasn't freezing cold and it didn't stink. But we went to a new place who said it was almost certainly propane (it had a slight smell but we figured that was residual from the inside of the tank).

Turns out the intake valve is messed up, my dad figured out that the injectors for the pumps have not been pushing the central pin in properly. Possibly the float arm inside the intake valve, which is supposed to drop down when the tank is empty (allowing more propane inside), appears to be getting stuck. Or it's a defective spring, depending on the mechanism. When he stuck a screwdriver into the valve, he heard a "chunk". He took it into a new place, who initially could not fill it (and had propane spilling all around the intake just like before), my dad tried the screwdriver trick again and it worked fine! I'm not sure why it reverted back to defective in the interim.

So our best guess for what happened is that the guys were trying to fill it, the pin was not budging, and instead of recirculating it in the system and not filling at all, a tiny bit was going in but most of it was spraying everywhere. Hence the small amount of gas that would come out when we turned it on. But it wasn't pressurized enough to become liquid so it didn't move the float gauge and appeared to be empty.

Regardless, we now have working propane! This is not nearly as exciting for anyone here as it is for me, but it's hard to explain how geeked out I am over having a working fridge.

At some point I'll get a new intake valve. Of course I can't replace it now that the tank is full (we just wanted to get the damn thing filled). But if I occasionally have to pop the thing in with a screwdriver, that works for me -- just another quirk to our nigh-30-year-old RV.

Hope this post helps someone else searching down the rabbit hole with the same problem.

RV propane tank empty, filling with compressed air instead of propane, propane spilling all over instead of going in?

Tank was sitting open for a bit while I got a replacement float gauge. Replaced the float gauge, took it back in to get filled. It was definitely empty. Guy goes to fill it up, the propane doesn't go in, just spreads around the outside of the tank, but then he opens the outlet (that directs to the appliances) and a bunch of compressed air starts shooting out (it was not there before). He said it was air, not propane gas, because it was normal temp and didn't really stink (just residual smell). He emptied it and repeated this process and got the same result each time.

So it would seem when you go to fill it, the propane won't go in but instead it fills the tank with compressed air. The overflow valve (where the liquid seeps out) seems to work according to the place we took it before this. What on earth would cause this?

Edit: see pic of tank in comments.

Best to use one big piece? Or a piece for the threshold and a separate transition strip like they did? What material? I prefer wood, don't want to be stuck with a big ugly metal transition strip. But it's very open to the elements, hence how bad it looks now. Thank you in advance!!
