Hi everyone, I’m looking for some insights into my LVC 1947 pair, which I believe is a Factory 555 production. I’ve noticed some very specific details that I haven't seen on standard pairs, and I’m curious if anyone else has encountered them.
First, the belt loop bartacks: the thread on the outside is red, but there is a clear black thread bartack visible on the inside.
Second, the fly construction: it features a distinct box-stitch detail at the bottom of the fly, with visible yellow/gold chain stitching throughout.
And most unusually, it has a white selvedge ID (no red line).
I’ve never seen this combination before. Is this a known factory variation, a 'factory error' piece, or something else entirely? I’d love to know if anyone else has a pair with these exact features. Any thoughts or photos you could share would be greatly appreciated!
I’m really happy with this latest addition. I’ve always been a huge fan of vintage USA-made pieces—the construction and character are just on another level
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some help verifying if this vintage Iron Maiden 'Somewhere On Tour' baseball raglan is an original piece or a later reproduction.
Here are the details:
Tag: 'The Knits' brand, size M, made in U.S.A.
Print: Features the 'Eddie Lives' design on the back.
Details: I noticed several typos on the back print (e.g., 'Berance' instead of France, 'Finlalia' instead of Finland, 'Swedn' instead of Sweden, 'Ietay' instead of Italy).
Copyright: The copyright stamp on the front reads '© Iron Maiden Holdings Ltd.'
Could you please give me your thoughts on its authenticity? Are these misprints common for this specific shirt?
I've attached photos of the front, back, tag, and copyright print. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi everyone,
I’ve been obsessed with this pair for a while and wanted to share the details with you all. From my research, these are LVC 1955 Made in USA with the factory code 552 (San Angelo, Texas) stamped on the back of the button.
What makes this pair particularly special to me is the unique black ink 501XX printed on the paper patch—a detail you don't see every day on these early-to-mid 90s runs.
I’ve spent a lot of time looking at the hidden rivets, the offset loops, and the specific stitching patterns. The natural distress and the way the denim has aged over the years really give them so much character.
Would love to hear from other collectors—what are your thoughts on this Factory 552 run?
Found these 502XX jeans with button code J09 and Talon 42 zipper. Are these early LVC or a 90s Japan reproduction? Any info helps!
