What breed is my dog

I've posted here before but thought I'd give it another go now he's more grown up. My dog hugo is mostly lab (1 pedigree parent and 1 lab mix) but we have no clue what else he is so interested to hear opinions. I have a black pedigree lab so in comparison hugo is slightly smaller but more muscular looking and 5kg at least heavier. He also has A LOT of extra skin going on around his head and neck as seen in one of the photos. He has smaller but thicker ears and trait wise I'd say less food motivated, but more vocal and friendly (i know these things don't necessarily come from whatever other breeds he is just for more context)

Forgetting to use headlights

So i only passed my test less than 2 weeks ago not even had my car a full week now so I know it will take time but I've been out in my car at least once a day since I passed and a few times at night when its just starting to get dark. One time I only switched my lights on because my brother was driving behind me and seeing his lights on reminded me, and another time I remembered but it took me a while, it wasn't fully dark yet so I could definitely see fine but when I looked around everyone else's lights were on so I definitely waited too long. The other problem is that I forget to switch them off. I have a 2011 ford Ka and when i switch the engine off the lights go off anyway but I'm still worried something is secretly draining my battery so both times after a few hours i had to go out to my car at like 1am to turn the light switch off.

Its not like its causing me any huge problems or anything but I'm just wondering if this is normal to begin with and if other people also forgot that they were the person incharge of operating the lights now 🤣. Its not rained here for weeks so I've not had to use my wipers yet either. I hope I won't be silly enough to drive through the rain without being able to see though but we will see

Driving with passengers makes me forget how to drive

I only passed a week ago and shockingly I've loved driving so far with very little anxiety, my lessons made me panic so much so I assumed I'd have a hard time adjusting but I love it and genuinely feel safe. Yesterday I had my first passenger and I wasn't dangerous but I just couldn't drive like usual. Stalling several times at traffic lights and having no confidence decision making at roundabouts. Again nothing dangerous we still got from A to B perfectly safe but has anyone else experienced just becoming stupid with a passenger? I also feel like I've driven more confidently alone than ever in my lessons or on my test so I think it may just be a judgement thing that puts the pressure on but I don't want to be an idiot everytime I have a passenger so any tips or advice would help

Examiners and instructors. Should this have been a srious fault?

I passed my test this week with 2 driving faults. 1 for handbrake control and 1 for leaving my signal on a while after moving off. The handbrake fault was something I never do or have done before and was within the first minute of my test, approaching a roundabout i knew i was on a hill and thought I would have to stop as there was a queue but just as i was about to come to a stop the car infront moved off and I was prepared to put my handbrake on to move off on the hill so after seeing the car infront move i applied my handbrake without fully stopping the car with the footbrake causing the car to jolt and tires to screech, not horrendously but certainly noticeably. I thought that would be a fail so I relaxed and had an almost perfect drive after this and ended up passing. I have since had people tell me this should have 100% been a serious fault and I should have failed for this mistake. I can see why it would be a serious but it was marked as a driving fault so I'm wondering how other examiners and instructors would have marked something like this or if examiners maybe go easy on students who mess up early on clearly due to nerves but perform well otherwise? I'm not worried as I know I can drive and its not a mistake I will make again but just curious if it should really have been a pass or fail.

First time pass, 3 driving faults

Took my first test today and passed with 3 faults! All of the faults were right at the beginning of my test within the first 5 minutes and all silly mistakes I never made before due to the nerves. 2 of the mistakes I thoughy were serious faults ans immediate fails so I started to relax and think this is just a practice so I'm better prepared for next time but low and behold its a pass!

Pre test lesson length

Hi everyone, i have my first test on thursday morning. My instructor originally arranged a lesson for me thursday at 9.15 for a 10.15 test but is now saying we should start at 8.45 for extra time before my test. I have never had a longer lesson than 1.5 hours I have always done 1 or 1.5 hours per lesson so I'm feeling a bit dubious about having 1.5 hours before I then have to continue driving and go for the test. I know this won't be the most exhausting lesson as we'll be covering maneuvers and probably chatting for a while and I'm sure if I ask if we can park up and have a few minutes this will also be fine but I'm just worried about driving longer than I have before on the day of my first test of all the times. I am conflicted because I know that the extra time could give me a good chance to cover more things and feel more settled in the car so it could help or it could not. I never feel drained after lessons or anything so I feel like I'm overthinking it but I guess I'm just looking for some perspectives or advice if I should be asking to shorten the lesson or how people find longer than usual drives early on.

Following signs on driving test

I always worried about following signs on a driving test as its not something I thought i would remember to do but my lesson today i had my second mock test which was following signs. Throughout the test my instructor told me to follow signs to Newark, Nottingham etc but she reminded me quite consistently "still following signs for nottingham" for example. The test went and I passed with 4 minor faults but I'm wondering if she made the sign following easier than what it would be on a test? Do examiners remind you to be looking for signs more than once and remind you where you're following signs to or will they more likely tell you once and you just have to remember to keep an eye out for them?
