They should just give the gun to me, having to play the game to get salvage is already way too much like a Battle Royale.

As a pvpve player I'm kinda missing new content 😅
As one of the dedicated that kept playing through the lows I kinda feel neglected rn ngl.
Weapon fixes and Bugfixes we're way faster in season 1.
Obviously the game needs to expand it's player base, but I can't imagine I'm the only one of the pvpve enjoyers getting a bit bored with the focus on low stakes modes on maps we already cleared. (Vault breaker solo was fun for a few runs though, as opposed to friggin survival)
I don't think focussing on the new player experience in season 3, as outlined, will change that for me.
Kinda feel bad because I had some of my most fun gaming moments in marathon season 1 and would love to get more of those and I feel kinda obligated to play Marathon to participate in keeping it alive, but I guess it's more about spending for skins and the pass than about keeping the queues populated anyway.
Do you guys and gals think the influx of new players will outweigh people like me taking a break while we kinda wait for new pvpve stuff?

Thats it, i am just happy to see people experience get their bearings and feel rewarded for understanding the map and mechanics.
Maybe this also allows Bungo to Introduce a new endgame map for those like me who feel pretty much done with cryo after clearing all the vaults and getting the compiler in season 1, now that it wouldnt feel bad to get a new Endgame map when so many didnt clear or even exfil the first one
Please just state a predicted season count, and don't coach it in vagueness.
I would care for why you guessed your specific number, so any elaboration would be interesting.
I want to see some cold hard guesses and crown the definitive best prediction.
I will guess that season 3 will be the last season, vault breaker will fail, and we will reach new lows with season 3 having another disastrous launch and bungo not bothering with a fourth one.
Maybe I will try to also get some predictions from a marathon fan subreddit that won't ban me

And that guy just friggin kills me omg, I literally wasn't a threat and he already had a way better gun so this sweat was just griefing me.
Until I get the option to play the game solo PVE I won't return.

If Bungie doesn't implement (insert specific mode or feature) in the specific way I want, the game will literally be unplayable.

Any game that rewards any time investment at all is a personal attack on me, and an evil plot to cater to evil unemployed stinky people that shoot me in very mean and unfair ways
When youre on a low risk but also low value kit and thus have less options to adapt to non optimal battles, you are allowed to fall back and rotate away.
Even if one of your teammates died, if youre on a low risk/value kit the enemy will most likely only take their meds.
If you dont wanna leave just falling back regrouping and taking a new way of approaching the fight might also be worth a few tries in your upcoming runs.
If all you are doing is directly peek battling teams with better gear you will most ofen lose (as you should, they have way more to lose than you do in this engagement to gain this advantage)
Love the lore and how the shooting feels.
I feel like the game lacks tension though.
Imo they could maybe just enable PvP in all modes, strikes and zones and make it so that dead players are lootable.
This would enable a kind of risk and reward play style where you farm for gear to do more difficult content but will have to defend yourself.
Maybe they could add something like a free baseline gun, that people can equip when they're down on their luck.
This could also enable some interesting stealth gameplay.

I think making the game like this would also help with the game not getting any new content from now on as refarming your stuff after losing it would give you something to do

Cryo is the Prestige Map in Marathon right now.
Many players haven't really touched it beyond their weekly blue kit, and get lost when doing their weekly blue kit run.
I like that Cryo needs you to bring in your own loot. I like that you need a good few runs to really understand it. I like that it's hardcore.
I also like that Cryo feels special and is aspirational content, and implementing a no-risk sponsored Cryo would diminish that.
I personally don't have a problem running Cryo, killing the Compiler and looting vaults.
I personally hate the hoarder mentality of free kit fill trio players.
(tangent: like, bro, at least bring a blue shield; your vault is full. Stop running a free kit. You are missing out)
But imo, more People need to try Cryo out and get an understanding of the map and why it's so interesting.
Sponsored cryo would massively inflate the economy, but just before the wipe, imo, it's fine to let it rip.
A sponsored cryo queue with the blue kits of the different factions or just the normal sponsored cryo kit would allow the people that are unreasonably intimidated by cryo or have had bad experiences with crew fill to learn the map and maybe entice them to run cryo in season 2 with more confidence.
Understanding the Vaults, Batteries and Credentials is a big part of Cryo, and I don't know if it would be a good or bad call to allow people to run their Keys in a sponsored Cryo Mode.
As Compiler and the Subroutines are intended to be aspirational, it's probably alright if people need to bring their own stuff if they wanna run keys, i guess.
Another negative aspect would be that the actual cryo queue would turn far sweatier, as seen with Dire Marsh while sponsored Dire Marsh was on.

Also you should add in the option to keep my vault after the wipe.

And Premade no filled trios shouldn't be allowed to play with anyone at all, they are too sweaty and mean, maybe put them into a separate queue where they are only matched against Chinese 9 man's so they understand how it feels to get killed by people that play the game wrong and don't just start running alone at random directions while wearing free kits after the trio match starts (which is the Bungo intended playing experience)
