Between the shark brokers , the cramped 'luxury' homes and the insane prices I am almost resigning myself to living on rent forever.

Firstly the brokers either don't take me seriously or try to scam me .I have now resorted to mentioning an imaginary 'husband' .Once or twice when I have taken a male friend along their behaviour was totally different. It was astounding.He was much more on his guard, more polite etc.

The agents assume I don't know anything and try to pass things off like unclear titles, no OC etc.

People in this industry... are women buyers something out of the ordinary?Why is it so difficult?

I honestly am giving up hope!

Property will be ready in Dec 2029. I thought it was 10% now and then slab wise?!

How risky is this? The seller is supershady, tomorrow they may say they never received it or any other xyz lie.

What should I do??

UPDATE : Sent it and got them to sign a receipt which I uploaded to Amazon , now preparing for refund battle.

UPDATE 2 : Now Amazon keeps saying theres no tracking number so refund will be processed once seller receives the item even though I shared sellers signature that they received the item. What level of cheating is this???

None of this has happened and I am stuck with the AC which I don't want and could turn out to be a lemon.What to do??

Today the guy lied and said the seller has approved the return request and I have to "self ship' it .I said show me the email/message and he couldn't .Obviously I am not self shipping it.

Wow man that's the end of Amazon and me.This is toxic.

Traffic noise was already pretty bad , now there’s construction noise, building is going for redevelopment but landlady is not clearly saying when the vacating date is , water supply is like a chawl , yet she wants to hike up the rent by 10% … does it even make sense?? Am paying her to suffer!

There is a building coming up 10 ft away from the living room noise and dust will be insane.

Parking is puzzle parking , underground which can be aggravating , especially in some emergency.

Flat has a nice layout but looks shabby for just a 3 yr old flat. Like the builder didn’t cover up the sprinker pipes, doors are chipping, marbonite is yellowing!

However no matter what concern I raise he just minimises it. “There is no problem” Wth! 😂

Am stuck with 35k Daikin AC , seller refusing to approve return request, and Amazon just sending straight up lies that my amount has been refunded.

The product came from a third party who is refusing to take the product back let alone initiate a refund.

What can I do??

EDIT: to every dumbass suggesting I got a free AC , Amazon doesn’t work like that neither is Jeff Bezos my friend . I have not gotten any refund neither will I be getting anything until the product is picke up which they have refused . So zip it.

My heart sank when I looked out of this window 100 ft down to a construction site hole.A building is coming up 15 ft away from this one.

The parking is also underground puzzle parking which makes me anxious cos of flooding risks and general total dependence on valets.

This has been sitting on the market for a year. The only reassuring thing is that the title is fully clear.

What to do??
