My dog has a Cancerous tumor and I don't know what to do anymore
Hi, to be honest I don't know how to start this but I'll start by introducing you to my dog Lily
Lily is a Golden Retriever that my grandmother gave me when I was little; she's the best gift she ever gave me during all the time we've shared. Lily actualy She is 9 years old and is a very noble and kind-hearted dog Besides being very calm and I can say she's the best dog in the world, Lily is currently going through a somewhat difficult situation, so I'll start by explaining from the beginning...Like in October of last year While we were brushing her, we noticed a rather large lump on her right shoulder. We took her to the vet and they did a bunch of tests that were useless, only to tell us that it was a tumor, The vet said that because the tumor was already very large, she was afraid to operate, so she only gave us one option... to put her to sleep... we refused and went to another vet who told us It was a lipoma. Lily had surgery on December 26, 2025. The surgery went well, the tumor weighed 4 kg, and Lily recovered well. The recovery was difficult because it oozed a lot, among other things. A month or two passed and we felt the lump again...we went to a veterinary oncologist and they did a biopsy of the tumor and it turns out it's a cancerous sarcolipoma...Currently the tumor is already very large and highly vascularized. We were given two surgical options. The first is to remove the tumor again, but the surgery would be very invasive and would require removing muscle and other tissue, Besides, it's very likely it will grow back... the second option is to amputate the leg, but that would be too invasive and they would have to remove a lot of muscle and even several ribs...The other option is to leave it like this...but neither option is good, so here I am, asking for your help to heal her, please, to make that tumor disappear...
I ask for your help to cure her and...Please help her, I couldn't bear to lose her...Ask me anything you need and I'll post some pictures of her. Thank you so much for reading this, and your help would be greatly appreciated.
