Before 2012, the world carried a sort of special glow. Softness and warmth around everything even during the cold. Grass was greener, the sky was bluer. The air smelled good. You didn't question it at the time because it was just how everything used to be and it was the norm so why question it anyway? Then the moment came… New Years Eve on December 31st, 2011... A slow feeling of dread creeping up... Almost as if an impending loss was occurring... For some reason you felt sad in a way that you just couldn't explain... You felt an intense feeling of "I miss 2011..." You asked yourself mentally "Why do I miss it so much? It's just a number... My house looks the same, right...? Everything feels the same I think..." But you knew that wasn't true. You could see everything looked and felt duller for some unexplainable reason and you even felt the loss as it happened, so it couldn't just be mere nostalgia. You saw that an unseen flow had stopped moving through reality. And once you noticed, nothing looked the same again. That's when you began noticing subtle changes in the world... The nickelodeon logo changed from an orange splat into an all-lowercase orange font... YouTubes layout changed from bright and colorful into a dull gray cookie cutter design... McDonalds chicken nuggets started looking and tasting awful... Many other things began changing as well... A few years down the line and suddenly you're seeing these awful changes in everything... As if the world is in a steady decline and is losing the life it once had in it... You try to bring it up with others but most of them brush it off or call you crazy or paranoid... Finally in recent years, some more people begin noticing the same thing... But by then, it's too late... The world is dead... And they let it happen.... You tried to warn them, but they wouldn't listen...
