I’m a technical founder building Borderfolio, a live fintech SaaS for non-US investors who hold US and Irish-domiciled ETFs.
The product is already built and live. It helps investors understand ETF domicile, withholding-tax leakage, portfolio structure and cross-border investment issues.
I handle engineering and product myself. I’m looking to meet someone strong on the commercial side — B2B sales, partnerships, distribution, financial advisers / wealth managers, or fintech growth.
I’m especially interested in someone who has existing experience or relationships in investing, wealth management, fintech, expat finance, or financial services.
This isn’t an “I have an idea, you build it” situation. There’s already a working product and I’m now focused on finding repeatable distribution.
Ideally you:
have sold B2B or financial products before
can open real conversations with advisers, financial firms or investor communities
are comfortable owning GTM rather than waiting for tasks
want to build something long-term rather than join as an agency/consultant
Remote is fine. Europe / UK / Middle East / Asia / South Africa are all relevant because the product is inherently international.

Hey, 24M, based in Cape Town.
I realised recently that most of the people I meet socially don’t really share one fairly large part of my life: I genuinely enjoy talking about business, investing, building things, money, and how people design their lives.
I’m a software engineer by background and currently building my own fintech/SaaS product. Before that I spent most of my twenties being aggressively responsible with money, investing, reading far too much about ETFs and taxes, and occasionally remembering that money is in fact supposed to be spent as well.
I’m not looking for networking in the LinkedIn sense, and I’m definitely not trying to sell you anything. I’d just like to meet people who are ambitious, financially independent/comfortable, entrepreneurial, or simply doing something interesting with their lives.
Outside of work I’m much more normal than the paragraph above makes me sound. I love cooking, good coffee, restaurants, hiking around Cape Town, movies, travelling, and conversations that start with something completely stupid and somehow end up discussing economics, psychology or whether we should all move to an island.
I live around the Atlantic Seaboard and I’m usually up for coffee, dinner, a hike, wine, or just wandering somewhere and talking.
