colby econ or tulane freeman

International student deciding between two offers, IB target with long-term optionality between US and Asia (Thailand, Singapore, HK).

Colby: strong LAC brand, decent BB/EB placement, but I’d plan to transfer out after year one or two to a finance target (Stern, Georgetown, Ivy).

Tulane Freeman: direct admit to business school, structured finance pipeline, stay four years, more regional placement.

Questions: realistic odds of transferring out of Colby into a target? Does Freeman’s direct b-school structure beat Colby’s LAC prestige for IB? Any read on Asia placement from either?

Appreciate candid takes.

Colby for finance careers?

Prospective student here trying to gauge how Colby places into finance (IB, PE, Consulting, AM).
A few questions:
1. Does Colby actually send kids to BBs/EBs, or mostly MM and boutiques?
2. How useful is Davis Connects and the alumni network for breaking into NYC?
3. Which firms do OCR vs. networking-only?
4. How does it compare to t25s and other top LACs for finance placement?
Any current students or recent grads who can share real experiences? Thanks!

how much does hs grades matter in the transfer process to t25s

Incoming freshman at a LAC, planning to transfer to a T25 after first year. International student with A-levels (British curriculum). Grades are decent but not exceptional. How heavily do transfer admissions actually weigh hs grades vs college GPA? Does being international with a different grading system change anything?

Originally planned to sell UBER at $80 and buy ORCL at $194, but now UBER is ~$77 and ORCL is ~$198.

Would you:
sell Uber now or wait for a bounce?
buy Oracle now or wait for a pullback?
What exit/entry prices would you set?
