Hi! this isn’t the weekly complaint thread about parking I promise.

I’m a townie taking an online class right now, and for one of my projects I’m looking at people’s experiences with paid parking systems. Given how much parking comes up around here, I thought this would be a pretty topical place to ask. I’m collecting survey data about experiences with paid parking. Should only take 5 or so minutes.

A couple notes:

18+ only due to ethics standards.

You do not need to have successfully paid for parking before or need to own a smartphone.

All kinds of experiences are welcome, I’d really love to get a diverse range of perspectives rather than just hearing from people who use mobile parking regularly, know how to use it, or like it! That being said, if you do like it please also tell me what you like! Please note this is not just for Athens parking specifically, so feel free to reference parking experiences in other places if applicable to you.

Looking for somewhere new to go for Labor Day weekend with my partner and I feel like we always hit the same spots (Savannah/Tybee, Asheville, camping in the mountains, Orlando). I would love some recommendations within like a 9 hour drive of others favorite spots!

Pretty much what the title says. I am 13w and mostly through the bad nausea…but I still am averse to what feels like everything healthy with the exception of fruit. I’m especially averse to basically any protein (eggs, chicken, and beans especially) that isn’t a breakfast meat. To try my best, I’ve been having green smoothies and fruit.

Does anyone have any easy balanced meal ideas that worked for them while having food aversions so I don’t keep eating the same 3 highly processed foods and mass amounts of fruit every day?

This post is kind of LOL, but my husband and I are in a debate. I’m pregnant and skipped right through the arch today, as I’m a UGA grad, and my husband says I’ve cursed our daughter to never graduate from UGA (and probably be illiterate). What are our thoughts on this loophole of the superstition? Is she cursed to work at toppers?

Hi all. We LOVE the name Ana-lucia and the way it sounds with our last name, but feel like it’s appropriating since it’s Spanish/Hispanic and we are a non-Hispanic, white American family. We have thrown around doing Anna Lucia, which feels better to us but is it really? What are your thoughts, and does anyone have any ideas for names with similar vibe or cadence that feel less appropriated? Thanks!
