This post is kind of LOL, but my husband and I are in a debate. I’m pregnant and skipped right through the arch today, as I’m a UGA grad, and my husband says I’ve cursed our daughter to never graduate from UGA (and probably be illiterate). What are our thoughts on this loophole of the superstition? Is she cursed to work at toppers?

Hi all. We LOVE the name Ana-lucia and the way it sounds with our last name, but feel like it’s appropriating since it’s Spanish/Hispanic and we are a non-Hispanic, white American family. We have thrown around doing Anna Lucia, which feels better to us but is it really? What are your thoughts, and does anyone have any ideas for names with similar vibe or cadence that feel less appropriated? Thanks!
