Violent flickering when enabling fullscreen on any app/game.

every single app and game i enable fullscreen on, starts flickering black violently. the game and all inputs work fine, its just the flickering.

windowed fullscreen does the same, windowed mode is the only one that doesnt flicker.

it goes black and lasts around 2.5 seconds, then goes back to the game, then goes back to the black screen. its like a loop.

an interesting part is that whenever a notification pops up, an app is focused, an overlay is opened, or even when start menu is opened, the game works smoothly with no flickering.

the second this overlay/notification/whatever is closed, the screen goes back to flickering violently.

when the flickering persists for around 10 continuous seconds without doing the overlay fix, the game crashes.

its like a race, im not even joking. i have around 10 seconds to quickly pull up any type of overlay or else the game crashes.

sometimes, the game doesnt even crash. my whole gpu does. windows literally temporarily disables my gpu because of "errors" apparently. i found that out from opening device manager.

i have an RTX 5060 8gb vram and an AMD ryzen 7 8700F in my build.

im using an LG 4K 240hz OLED monitor.

here are the fixes ive tried that havent helped.

- disabling mpo (multiplane overlay)

- disabling transparency effects

- deleting xbox game bar

- disabling nvidia overlay

- removing my gpu drivers using DDU then reinstalling them

- updating my gpu drivers normally through the nvidia app

- running sfc /scannow to replace broken or missing files on windows

- changing my display resolution

- changing my display hz

- disabling g-sync

- disabling vrr (variable refresh rate) from the nvidia app

- disabling vrr from my monitors built in settings

- switching the hdmi cable for a new one

- disabling fullscreen optimizations

- disabling optimizations for windowed games

- disabling hardware accelerated gpu scheduling.

i would appreciate any help, thank you all in advance.

what is chatgpt talking about?

at the end of anaphase, doesnt the cell have two chromosomes?

from what i know, the cell takes those two chromosomes, and gives one to each daughter cell.(later during mitosis)

im giving chatgpt my explanation here, and hes saying that each daughter cell doesnt get a chromosome, they get "one copy of each chromosome".

im super confused because the cell doesnt "copy" chromosomes anymore during mitosis, it simply divides, so each daughter cell gets a chromosome.

did i forget to study a whole part of mitosis, am i not understanding the terminology chatgpt is using? i dont get it.

i would appreciate any help guys

i think i might be done for.

alright so in my school, if you wanna take an ap class, you have to take an entrance exam. (that the school themselves made) this entrance exam covers all of the subjects IN that ap class.

i plan to take ap biology

i havent really studied anything honestly (literally ALL i know is the g1, s, and g2 phases in the cell cycle). i literally have 0 motivation and im so used to studying 5-10 days before an exam, that my brain just refuses to cooperate with me.

the entrance exam is on the 8th of september and i was just wondering if i could finish studying everything by then, or if its too late.

has anybody been in a similar situation? if so, would you mind telling me how you studied, and how you avoided the lack of motivation?
