Here is my Audi A5 3.0 TDI which is now approaching 100 K miles. I’m mainly drive motorway in the UK and looking at averaging 15,000 miles a year.

Currently at 95,000 miles and wanting to do a major service or keep an eye out for things that may fail. My knowledge on service history are:

S tronic gearbox serviced twice in the ideal range.
0w20 oil was used on past papers
Brakes suspension all fine

I have a year of extended warranty left when i bought the car knowing stuff may fail in the upcoming months. If anyone owns or has had the same era engine for this time what is likely to just replace and get done now. I also could buy a VCDS cable to keep an eye on timing chain tensioners etc. debating adblue, egr and DPF delete with a map in future but need to get the extra money before 😂.

Any help would be greatly appreciated since i can do my own servicing but anything that would be unfamiliar or unseen during a DIY service i dont want to miss is all 😬. Thanks!

Had temp issues recently with car running cold on motorway. Replaced the EGR thermo but no luck still so will do main over the weekend. Just a bit unsure on this whining noise. Might be a belt squeaking

Heard this ticking noise upon startup recently. Really unsure if this is exhaust side turbo or anything similar. Any help would be amazing. Posted before but put some random car specs on the screenshot 🤣

Currently deciding on selling my 2005 e46 320d with 92k miles on for this (absolute top spec e60 but has 180k miles). But heres the catch. Was a recovered vehicle. Bought it as a part exchange car and for £1.5k had to replace the centre support bearing blah blah etc. My plan is to mostly commute about 60-80 miles a day for work. Which i feel like even though the M47 is goated i believe this car i am posting might be worth the money. Plan to keep for multiple years. Much appreciate any insight.
