Im currently prediabetic (6.0 a1c for a year), and before that it has fluctuated from 5.7-5.9 for years, sometimes going down to 5.4-5.5..etc, so its been an on and off issues for at least 10 years.
I started wearing CGM (libre 3), and am finally really understanding my body. My doctor recommended metformin, but i do not want to go on it (especially given that I already deal with some gut issues).
Are there any supplements that you have visually seen with your CGM that have reduced spikes, lowered fasting blood sugar, improve insulin resistance?
I am not looking for a short cut, I have changed my diet (even though my diet for many years has not been unhealthy). I'm just looking for a supplement that can help me lower my a1c.
I am considering berberine, but have read that it can also cause gi issues.

Does anyone know of any pools open earlier ? His mom will be picking him up early afternoon, so morning time would allow him time to swim.

Please be careful out there. I sat next to this man and he took out a hammer and was banging it a little bit across the seat, then stopped. Just to be on the safe side, I switched train cars the next stop, and the following stop he followed me, got on the same train car and sat across from me.
