Looking for some feedback from people who have experience in ecommerce and lead generation.
I run a small commercial furniture business. We have a limited section for e-commerce but it will slowly grow out, but most of our sales come from commercial clients who might also search in google shopping to find products but prefer to deal direct in showroom anyway for bulk orders.
I’m trying to decide where to invest a limited marketing budget.
At the moment, I’m questioning whether spending around $1k /month on an SEO agency is the best use rof funds given the long timeframe before seeing results.
My thinking is that Google Merchant Center, Shopping Ads, and Google Ads might be a better starting point because they can generate exposure (which is why google shopping is important to me rather than its sales alone) enquiries, and fast keyword/conversion data.
Hi guys I have a Commercial furniture business (custom + importing).
Website is ~6 months old and professionally built.
SEO is starting to perform — ranking page 1 for “some” local searches.
Main issue: traffic is low (~30 visits) compared to competitors (~300–600). Looking to increase visibility, site visits, and enquiries (especially quote requests).
Ecommerce section exists but is mainly for showroom/commercial lead generation rather than direct online sales as its commercial quantities.
Marketing focus areas being considered:
-Increasing organic traffic beyond current SEO results
-Driving more quote enquiries and email leads
-Expanding ecommerce section mainly for marketing/credibility
-Using paid ads (Facebook/Meta ads considered, some past success via Marketplace)
Questions:
Is Facebook/Meta ads worth it for this type of business?
Would hiring a digital agency (~$800/month) be effective at this stage, or is it better to learn and run it internally?
What should the priority focus be to realistically scale traffic and enquiries from here?
Looking for practical direction based on what typically works in this space, not generic advice.
Hi guys just seeking some broker/bank opinions
I’m in an application process to transfer a few home loans to a big 4 bank. One is from a second tier lender that I have had for years
I did a verification check 6 months ago, then I had to do another one 2 months ago because it timed out.. The banker says it should be all good and credit rating is fine etc etc but there has been a long delay and feels like it’s taking forever and I’m always waiting for an update.
Can these situations drag on like this? There’s a bit of a portfolio to look at, I was told it was never going to be a straight run.. but I’m confused if they should of said yes by now they also should of definitely said no..
Hi guys, even for a rental, is it worth paying for a Cleanflush Caroma Luna at around $600? Or will the cheaper $200–300 toilets do the job without causing future plumbing call-outs?
I’m trying to work out whether the extra cost actually saves money long term, or if it’s unnecessary for an investment property.
Accidentally dropped my square shower head a few months ago and the corner chipped/cracked the plastic shower base It’s not a full hole, but definitely damaged.
Since then I’ve noticed increasing mould around the base, and even the painted tiles near the bottom are starting to flake.
I’ve got home insurance with Allianz/Westpac and I’m trying to figure out what they’d actually do in this situation. Would they likely just repair/fill the damaged area, or does something like this usually end up requiring a full base replacement (and potentially ripping out part of the bathroom)?
