PayPal scam and I don't have account with them

⚠️ SCAM ALERT ⚠️

I received a fake invoice for a $563 coffee maker that I never purchased. The email urged me to call a phone number to dispute the charge.

🚩 If you receive something similar:

• Don't call the number.

• Don't click any links.

• Verify transactions only through the official app or website.

• Report the email as spam/phishing.

🔒 Protect your identity by hiding your email, phone number, address, account numbers, and QR codes before sharing screenshots online.

Stay safe and always verify before you act.

Title: Business Owners: Be Aware of Fake Meta Business Manager Partnership Requests. I wanted to share a recent experience as a warning to other small business owners who manage Facebook Pages,

Here is a professional Reddit post you can use that focuses on awareness and facts rather than accusations:

Title: Business Owners: Be Aware of Fake Meta Business Manager Partnership Requests

I wanted to share a recent experience as a warning to other small business owners who manage Facebook Pages, Shops, or Business Manager accounts.

I received what appeared to be a Meta Business Manager partnership request. At first glance, it looked legitimate because it referenced Meta Business assets and partner access. However, after reviewing it more carefully, several red flags stood out:

• The sender referenced a Google Sites page rather than an official Meta domain.

• The message encouraged completing a process through an external link.

• The request came from an unknown party that I had no prior business relationship with.

• Meta's own fraud warning within the message advised users to verify requests and never share passwords or payment information.

For anyone unfamiliar with these requests, granting partner access can potentially give another party access to certain business assets. Before approving any request:

✅ Verify the identity of the requester through official channels.

✅ Access Business Manager directly through Meta, not through links in emails or messages.

✅ Only accept partnership requests from businesses or individuals you personally know and trust.

✅ Review permissions carefully before granting access to any assets.

I'm sharing this because many small business owners are targeted by increasingly sophisticated scams. Whether this was an attempted phishing scam or an unauthorized partnership request, it serves as a reminder to always verify before clicking.

Has anyone else received similar partnership requests recently? What steps do you take to verify Business Manager invitations?

This wording keeps the discussion professional, avoids making claims you can't prove, and is less likely to attract criticism from Reddit users who focus on evidence and facts.

Scammer

My experience with this company has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I was promised payment multiple times, yet days later I am still being given excuses, delays, and passed from one person to another with no real resolution.

One of the biggest red flags is that they have failed to clearly provide their official business name, company information, or proper contact details despite repeated requests. Every time I ask direct questions about payment amounts, transaction details, or timelines, I receive vague answers or am told someone else will “handle it.”

As someone who completed work in good faith, I should not have to continuously chase people down just to receive basic information or payment owed to me. The constant stalling, deflecting, and lack of transparency have made this situation feel very concerning.

At this point, I honestly do not know whether this is a legitimate furnishing business operating out of New York or something else entirely because of how secretive and inconsistent everything has been.

Based on my experience, I would give them a 2 out of 10. Communication, professionalism, accountability, and trust have all been lacking throughout this process.Another major red flag is being asked for personal account information that no legitimate company should ever request. No professional business should be asking for your email password, banking login information, or access to personal accounts in order to issue a payment.

A legitimate payment process only requires basic payment details — not passwords, verification codes, or full access to someone’s accounts. The repeated requests to open different accounts, switch payment methods, or provide sensitive information raise serious concerns about professionalism, security, and legitimacy.

After 8 months of waiting for payment, constant excuses, and being redirected between crypto platforms, Cash App, and bank accounts, this situation has become unacceptable. People deserve transparency, proper documentation, and secure payment practices — not pressure to hand over personal information. Based out of New York NY.
