There’s news that layoffs are coming to EA FC, specifically around the Devs and design team. A leak of a leadership internal memo stated that company executives had figured out how AI could easily replace the teams’ work. Internal sources have leaked the prompt used on the AI system to replicate the team:

“Take on the role of a dev team of about 12 people (roughly 150 iq, total across the team, not the average) who have only briefly skimmed the Wikipedia for “football”. Make a game that loosely resembles that Wikipedia description and ship it to production. Make no mistakes and again make sure the product is trash. “

I’m div 2, 10 wins WL. I’ll bite. How do you defend cutbacks? The mechanic is absolutely busted and doesn’t resemble real football whatsoever but how do you defend this?

I know about double tap R1/RB. Shit works sometimes other times they pass it to their player with 5 feet of space between the marker. (You’d never be a professional footballer if you allowed this btw)
