i just found the site and the first 2 things i looked for, the clan atlas (AS7-D-H(S)) and plasma cannons were different from in game. the atlas doesnt exist at all that i can find and the plasma cannon says it does 7 damage on the website but 5 damage in game.
whats more reliable? i know ingame is a mishmash of old/changed tooltips that lie so i dont know.
i was super excited with this event to gt hatchetman as i love melee in mechwarrio for the goofy ride or die shenanigans, so when i had a free hero mech i was browsing the massive list and was like O HECK YEA I WANNA HIT THINGS WITH AN AXE! that sounded cool as hell! reality hurt.
recently had a game where a guy was hiding under me, i was in a stone rhino he was in another assault (a stalker or something long range) and i walked off the ledge on top of him, sat on top of him for a second then he died, but it gave kill credit to someone else. is goomba stomping not in the game or does it work weirdly? i thought he was healthy and i stomped him but i could have been wrong. either way it was hilarious!
backstory: me and another player had been playing and getting along very well until our group decided to do havoc. the other players were 100% not ready for havoc as one of them had been playing for 2 weeks and the other was rusty. we died a lot doing the other game modes (auric) but we had fun. we did a havoc 22 for funzies and to show off havoc, as we had done literally 1 game of every other game mode so thought why not. we did fine but kept losing, 5 losses later we finally won one! this is where the question comes in.
situation: the guy at the end starts bragging about his dps. "i did more damage than the whole team combined" i responded with "actually he was dragging the entire team down by being so far behind everyone, constantly fire AOEing things that didnt need to die instead of just catching up and we had to use resources to save him multiple times because he got so far behind" im trying to be as unbiased here as i can be, but then i got the reply of "i was killing things that would have ambushed us from behind"
who is right in this situation? i genuinely believe had he just kept up with us we could have done the mission much faster with less deaths, but its possible a flame staff psyker killing things behind us could have been the reason we won. at the end of the mission (smelter complex) me and the oggy just ditched them all together and did the entire event as a duo.
