Higher earnings

Hi everyone !

I’ve had taskr app in my back pocket for a few years now. Used it a bit in college when my parents didn’t allow me to get a job.

Now, I’m back at it to make up some hours since my main job cut my hrs a bit.

How can i optimize my bookings and earning ? For example, i have a brand ambassador task today for 2.5 hrs paying $67 total. How do i get to the point where i can fill my weeks with tasks and have an $100 minimum for tasks .

Also, i do not offer handy tasks. I am more vending at events and flea markets for companies or personal assistant/ small admin work.

relationship advice on Career and education conversations

My wife and I are both close to finishing our bachelor's degrees. The plan was that I'd carry most of the financial burden until graduation, then she'd get a more stable job so we could share responsibilities more evenly. Now she's talking about going straight into a master's program and wants me to do the same, but I'm exhausted from working and going to school full-time and was hoping to take a year off. I'm worried that financially and practically, two people pursuing graduate degrees at the same time isn't realistic for us, especially since I expect to have significant unpaid internship and credentialing requirements. Am I being unreasonable for wanting a break and more financial stability before we both pursue master's degrees?

Summary:
My wife (28) and I (26F) are both nearing completion of our bachelor's degrees. I've been the primary financial provider, covering rent and most household expenses while she earns supplemental income through tattooing and focuses on school. Our understanding was that once we graduated, she would find a more stable source of income so we could share financial responsibilities more equally.

Recently, she's begun planning to go directly into a master's program and wants me to do the same. The problem is that I'm burned out from balancing full-time work and full-time school, have ADHD, and was hoping to take a year off before pursuing graduate school. Additionally, my career path in psychology and special education will likely require extensive internships, shadowing, and other unpaid experiences, making me concerned about our ability to support ourselves if we're both in graduate programs simultaneously.

While she does contribute $100 here and there and she did put school refund into our shared savings, 4k. I've noticed that our current arrangement has gradually shifted further toward me supporting the household financially. I'm worried that what was supposed to be a temporary arrangement may be becoming permanent, and I'm concerned about whether we're truly on the same page about sharing financial responsibilities and career sacrifices. I'm trying to find a compromise that supports both of our goals without jeopardizing our financial stability or causing resentment. tl;dr and summary. not sure if I did this post right.

What’s does it mean?

What does it mean when you believe something will work in your favor even if that’s not the norm? For example, anytime i wanted a job that paid well above— I’ve always found it. When i wanted to be a personal assistant in LA without any connections and people saying it’ll be hard. i just knew it would still happen effortlessly and it did.

Like i strongly believe that anything you really want you shouldn’t have to work hard for it. Like yeah work hard for your mastery and education but like the job or your desire shouldn’t be hard obtain. It should want you as much as you want it . right? It should fall in your lap, but also i don’t walk around Aimlessly for favors, but i do believe it’ll come .

Is a used Tesla worth it?

Hii

I’ve been in the search of an EV used or new depending on my car note. Tesla no matter how used is soooo high to insure for me in California. I really want a Tesla but the Tesla I’ve seen are 500+ car note +500+ car insurance. That’s $1000 a month !! my current car is a 2012 Honda Civic paid off and car insurance only $200. I knew I would be paying more, just not 1k more. I’ve been looking at the Tesla’s, but the range is not that good? Like range full charge 230s. I work three times a week and that’s like 300 miles and I know I’ll be able to charge at home but I just wanna know is a used Tesla worth it. if not, what’s another EV that’s good?

Also what’s a good mileage to buy a Tesla at? I’ve been looking at less than 70k miles with 230 miles on full charge

Electric cars recondition

Hi !! I can not change title. *I’m looking for EV Recommendations*

I live in California( IE) and commute to the valley 3 days a week. That’s about 76 miles EACH WAY. Over an Hour. I have a company car at work. So, at work i don’t drive my personal. I have a 2012 Honda with 180,xxxx miles and just really want to buying a new car, an electric car. There’s nothing wrong with it, but just looking at what’s next.

My parents both have Tesla. So, they recommend only teslas. My mom used to have the EV books wagon but they had a lot of recalls and she was annoyed by all the trip to the dealership.

So, what is a good EV used or worth the car payment ? If it’s a payment i want to pay 200-$370 a month! I make 55 and hour and rent is $1200. Car and Phone paid off. I have no debt. So i want to keep everything low in terms of affordability.

So, i was hired to vend at a farmers market on behalf of a company. It was cool, the owner did call a lot during and it kinda integer with speaking to customers. They expected to make 500-600 but i made them $260. however thats pretty high considering it was a private event for an animation company and a lot of the other vendors were not selling anything they were more informational. To be my honest, me and the two produce stands probably made the most. The vendors next to me was selling apple cider vinegar and said he does this ever year. But he’ll be shocked he even makes enough to fill a tank of gas.

Anywhoo, packed everything up returned the store to their storage unit and any unsold items to their Company’s refrigerator site. Took pictures/ Videos of every step like requested. She gave me a backhanded compliment? She said, “even though she did not make my goal amount she did well”. Her sales had nothing to with me since everyone that stopped at my table left with a purchased item. Sales were continuously flowing until the end. She was able to see the timestamp of sales coming in back to back on her Square platform. Also, she had never done this event before and still was making unrealistic expectations for me

Days go by, i get an email about a mini trash can and display baskets being missing and if i had them/ check my car. More accusatory. Rather than curious. I responded by saying I do not have it. I took pictures of everything and willing to come by the storage unit and help you or your assistant look for the items. she then responds with she will be reaching out to the storage company to get access of the security footage to see what I did with her items and take further action if needed?!?

Mind you it’s a mini trash can you would use in your bathroom and two small home good baskets. Today, she finds the baskets and the trashcan. no apology in the email, but rather saying if I would further want to see the footage for myself and proceed if needed she will send it over or we can do a three-way call with the storage managers in herself?!? also she said that she told task rabbit that the issue has been resolved. I was completely unaware that she filed a report against me on task rabbit and annoyed because i thought we were actively resolving the issue ourselves ?!?

I really want to send an email response , but i wanted some insight on this first.
